I came into the Up and Running in Troy yesterday, I met Amy. She measured my feet among other things. She helped me with my new shoes. I can't say enough good things about her or my New Balance shoes. I was told about Up and Running by my physical therapist.

I had a fantastic experience at Up and Running in Dayton this weekend. I needed a new pair of running shoes and insoles, and although I thought I had a pretty good idea of what I needed in terms of style and fit, I found Emily to be an incredible wealth of knowledge. She went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for. After I wear this pair of shoes out in a couple hundred miles, I'll be back.

Rolled into the store this afternoon in need of guidance on selecting a proper running shoe for my needs after being completely overwhelmed by online reviews and commentary. I needed the help from a processional, and that is exactly what I got. I had the pleasure of working with Bobby today, and he was tremendous. He took the time to understand my training background, and went above and beyond in assessing my foot mechanics. He made a recommendation and it ended up being more than I could have hoped for. I could wipe the smile off of my face because of how great the shoe felt. Wonderful experience all around. If you are in need of new shoes, and / or the guidance from an expert, do not hesitate to give these guys a chance.

Very happy with everything. My sales clerk was very knowledgeable and listened to what I was needing. I wore my new Brooks all day the next day and my feet felt great. My legs didn’t get tired like they usually do and I was walking my dog at a festival for a couple of hours. Thanks for all your help.

I am so pleased with my experience at Up and Running!I was hesitant to visit the store only because I am new to running (and fitness in general, let’s be honest) and I have so much to learn that I was afraid I would feel out of place in a specialty store. But I signed up for my first 5K and knew that my current shoes weren’t going to cut it!Emily took great care of me, fitting me for the right shoes and helping me with a good pair of socks too! She was patient and informative. She gave me lots of encouragement too! What a blessing.Also, I’ve put in 4 workouts with my new shoes so far and my feet are happy. lol. Logged about 10 miles with my new shoes so far and I’m grateful for the experienced staff at Up and Running, because those were the easiest miles I’ve ever run! ♥️Will be back to soon to get more gear for that 5K! And I see the Appalachian Trail in my near future too!

Always a great experience--I have purchased running shoes from Up and Running for 10+ years. I would not buy my shoes anywhere else as you are fitted by trained professionals. An improper fit results in injuries--no matter what level you are at. There are no judgements about your goals--only support and positivity.

Visited this location on the recommendation of a dear friend of mine. I wasn't disappointed as the staff are extremely accommodating and will remain with you until you have tried on and narrowed down the shoes and inserts that you actually are comfortable in. I will definitely be stopping by again in the future!

I went in for a new pair of running shoes. I can't recall the name of the associate who helped me, but she was wonderful to work with. She took her time and explained the process. She was very personable and I genuinely enjoyed the experience. The shoe I ultimately chose was not in a color I liked so she got a tablet and showed me what they could order. I'm anxiously awaiting my new shoes and can't wait to use them in the Run for Home 5k.

This was our first time at this location, and Robbie helped us get fitted for shoes. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. They have a wide array of shoes for any budget or any type of runner, plus a great deal on their socks. Great experience overall, and I will certainly be coming back thanks to the fantastic service we received.

Was in desperate need of new walking shoes and as soon as I walked in, someone was able to help me. Angela explained the fit process and what she was doing each step of the way. I learned I needed to size up to have a comfy fit for my feet! She listened to all of my concerns and was able to find a great shoe for me (and it was on sale!) Will definitely be coming back!

Not 100% satisfied. I went on 4/11/23 and Evan took my measurements. However he didn't take into account that I have a wide foot. I ended up buying a pair of shoes on clearance because it was all they had in my size (8.5). He even recommended them to me.Well I worn them 1 time for about a half hour and both my feet were in pain within 20 minutes. I took them back a few days less than 2 weeks and was told I couldn't get my money back even though it had been less than the 2 week period for a return for money back. I ended up getting an $80 in store credit.I went to the website and it's terribly designed. I have a hard time finding the right shoe. And unfortunately they don't have ANY men's 8.5W shoes in stock. None at all, out of hundreds of shoes, nothing in my size. I feel a bit scammed.

Highly recommend! Both our boys run cross country and track. They will for you for shoes to make sure it will perform based on the size and shape or your foot. This will significantly reduce the chance for injury. Shoes here are a bit pricey but worth it.

So many great things about this store. The customer service is above and beyond! I had the great pleasure of having Hailey work with me today. She is lovely! Not only is there shoe selection fantastic, but the old fashioned way you’re treated. Having someone take off and put on your shoes.
