The technician that came out joe ,called me to let me know he was on his way. He was very friendly, polite and very professional. He was on time from the 2 hour window they gave me. He did sprayed instead and outside my house,and for the reason he was here for,he found the yellow jacket nest outside, and took care of the nest and disposal of it.Services: Hornet & wasp extermination

Terminix person from Dayton was very polite and courteous. He arrived between the hours that we were scheduled for. He explained what he was going to do and talked with me after he was done. I would recommend this company.

Where do I begin? We signed an agreement with them at the end of July and paid $320 up front to treat a Yellow Jacket infestation in our home. They were well aware that the yellow jackets were burrowing through our walls and flying around inside our house. They were supposed to come and treat it on August 1st and nobody showed up. So we called to find out what was going on and they said that our appointment was actually for the next Tuesday August 8th. Ha! This was a total lie because we put the appointment in our family calendar the day that we bought the package. If they had told us the day of their inspection that it would be MORE THAN A WEEK before they could come out, we would NOT have signed an agreement with them (and they knew that). We would have hired a company who took it seriously and would treat it immediately. Anyway, back to the debacle - a WEEK LATER (8/8) they send a guy out to treat it and I'm not sure that he ever did anything as neither my husband nor I saw him treating the house. There was no change whatsoever after his so-called treatment and more and more yellow jackets were burrowing through our walls and flying around our house. The next day the technician texts to tell me that we're going to need another treatment and he will come out and treat it later in the week. He texts me the next day and says that he can't make it that day but he's definitely coming the next day. I do not hear from him the next day at all so the following day I text him and ask if he treated our house and he told me that he did. This was another lie because when I called into their offices, the woman I spoke with said that according to the records, our house had only been treated once. So I called them last Friday and I tell them the whole sordid tale and the woman I spoke with tells me they're going to send 2 of their best, most experienced technicians to our home the very next morning (Saturday) between 10 and 12. 11:45 rolls around and I'm wondering where they are so I call into the office. The woman I spoke to this time tells me that she doesn't see any appointments set up for us but that she can have a technician come out and treat it next Monday. Mind you, my husband and I are killing anywhere from 20 to 30 yellow jackets EVERY DAY that are burrowing through our walls while we wait for Terminix to get their act together. At this point I was DONE with them. I had no reason to believe that they would EVER do what they said they were going to do and in the mean time, we are being assaulted in our home by yellow jackets, day after day. I have never worked with a more unprofessional, unresponsive and flat out dishonest company in my entire life. Knowing that yellow jackets were flying around our home, we seemed to be their very last priority and they really didn't give a damn. Take my advice and treat your issue yourself if you have yellow jackets, like we ended up having to do. Or call a company who actually does what they say they're going to instead of gaslighting you, lying to you and not solving the problem you hired them to solve. In one text exchange their technician told me that I needed to hire a beekeeper. I wish I was kidding. Still waiting on the full refund they promised because their "treatment" had no effect, whatsoever (but not sure if I will ever see it given their propensity to lie to us repeatedly). Call me crazy but I think when a client has an infestation that could actually cause them physical harm, LIKE YELLOW JACKETS, the company they hire should make them a priority. Do yourself a favor if you have yellow jackets, and just buy "Demand Duo" insecticide, put it in a garden sprayer and treat the problem yourself. There, I just saved you $320 and a significant amount of frustration dealing with TERMINIX. I have canceled Terminix for over two months now. I had extremely hard time canceling the service, calling between the company and Dayton local. They finally came out and removed all the stations. Today I still received a bill of two months service charge! Luckily I have a email from the company saying the service has been canceled already. I agree with one review—the local and its headquarters doesn’t communicate effectively.Services: Termite inspection

I enjoy spending time outdoors in the evenings during the summer. The mosquitoes have been getting worse. West Nile virus has been detected in our region. I called Terminix and Tyler, our tech was on time. He explained what he would be doing, how the process and product worked, and then when he was finished , he told me what to expect. He gave me his card in case I had any questions or issues. Tyler was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. I am very pleased with my service!Service: Mosquito extermination

I had written a previous review giving Terminix a 1 star rating. This is an updated review and is significantly different.My discontent with the company was largely due to the lack of communication and access to anyone local. When one of my properties was having major issues with a new installation, our rep Matt was no where to be found. No return emails or phone calls. It was impossible to reach anyone at the local office either.I was finally able to leave a message for the service manager, Ryan Harper, and he followed through where Matt refused to do so. He returned my call and fixed all the problems. He personally ensured that the job was done to my satisfaction and to the satisfaction of the property. He single handedly saved this account. Matt was great during the sales process, and very responsive, but once things went off the rails, he was totally MIA. And continues to be so-not a word of apology or offer of help.It is frustrating that local contact is so difficult, but Ryan has made sure to make himself available and really come through for my company.Service: Termite inspection

While the initial tech (Matt Channell) that came out was very helpful and knowledgeable we’ve had nothing but frustration and issues since signing with Terminix.My husband and I discovered they were overcharging us from what was agreed upon in the contract we signed. It was such a hassle to get a refund. They said it would not happen again and yet, over a year into this, we continually are overcharged each month. The last time we called customer service they said they would not refund us. This is an incredibly poor business practice. One might even refer to it as deceptive and fraudulent practices.We recommended Terminix to our neighbors and discovered today that they are also being overcharged!I’m convinced Terminix is greedy and hoping clients won’t compare their contract to what is being charged. Someone needs to permanently make this right and properly compensate us for being overcharged.

House was vacant for quite some time before we moved in. Terminix came out spray around the house and inside. Also had the mosquitoe treatment and so far no insects inside and mosquitoes are non existent. Thank you terminix for the services.Services: Mosquito extermination

My husband and I am very pleased with the service that we received. We had an issue with birds in our vents. A tech came out and assessed the home and we were worked into their schedule within 3-4 days for them to place vent covers. Our tech Jeffrey was very professional and efficient. He followed up as he said he would and made sure that we were satisfied with the job. We will continue to use Terminix for any pest issues that we have in the future. The outstanding customer service really goes a long way!

This branch is lead by terrible managers. The EPA should do a huge sweep of this entire building. The drain outback of 8609 N Dixie street has chemicals going into it constantly. They don’t follow safety procedures and they’re awful to be employed by as well.Service: General pest inspection

Terrible experience please save yourself the trouble because you will receive a bill without receiving the service. And you will be ignored when trying to contact higher up for help resolving this issue!
