I was sad to learn she is no longer on Jefferson in the art building. Her voicemail message says she will take custom orders after the first of the year. Since that is what I'm interested in, I don't recall the other information related to any sales between now and then, but that is in the voicemail. She's done work for me before and I was very happy with it.

Sam is the consummate professional. The quality of her work is simply amazing. It doesn't seem to matter if you need something new or something repaired she can always take care of whatever it is. She's never pushy about any selection and is extremely knowledgeable of the product that she has on me. There's simply no better place to go.

I am a long term and loyal customer. The items offered are high quality at a fair price. The owner is a delight to speak with and I always look forward to a day trip from Cincy to Dayton to hang out, see the sights, do some shopping and spend time at Sterling Studio :)

Been my jeweler for over 20 years when Sam Vacca had three previous locations in the Oregon District. But her attention to detail and advising her patrons on what is repairable and what is not. Most of all Sam's ethics are above cheating her customer's just to make a buck. Honesty always win out and therefore equate for long lasting customers as well as life long friends. Bobby Allen

I recently relocated to The Gem City, I had remembered my visit to this store when they were located in The Oregon District and what awesome pieces of jewelry they had, what awesome customer service I received. Therefore I was thoroughly excited to find this store located on Jefferson Street. I rushed there after work, to get up to the door and ring the buzzer which was okay, but then as I looked I discovered a lady with salt and pepper hair peering back out the window. I was in my city Bus Driver costume as I call it, so I know my appearance was at least ok. Finally the irritated lady opens the door and allowed me to enter. To make a long story short I found a unique necklace I was interested in. However she was so rude I left it there. I SHALL NEVER RETURN. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE.
