Very happy w Shiloh Animal Hospital. If it is something that a vet tech can do (draw blood, clip nails) they will schedule you w a vet tech to keep your cost down. Appointment times are the actual time you're seen. They are very sweet and gentle w my 13 year old dog. Highly recommend.

Staff is very friendly; wonderful customer service! They truly make you feel like you and your pet are important. More importantly, they are so compassionate and understanding when unfortunate things do happen. Could not ask for a better Vet team for my fur babies! ?

Now not accepting some dog breeds. They pressure and threaten to have your dogs spayed or neutered (I’m not against it) just don’t want to be pressured into it. We have the most well behaved Rottie. I was just told if we wait or do not neuter they will not accept my dog. I see from another review the don’t take Cane Corsos either. Very sad! Neutered dogs can still bite if not trained.Very high priced also!! Won’t ever go there again. There are many other great vets around that understand dogs and respect owners wishes.Even if and when we neuter or puppy I will NEVER return there!!

I previously had given this clinic a perfect star review 4 years ago and had been coming here ever since. I deleted that review to leave an updated one. I called because my dog was chewing at her tail and hind area and it was raw. I thought perhaps her anal gland had filled on one side. The admin suggested I come in for a vet tech appointment to check the gland or if I needed a proper vet visit. They didn't have any vet appointments open for weeks so this was their suggestion. It seemed reasonable. I came in and two techs took us back in the room. I showed them under her fur where the issue was. They said it didn't look like an anal gland issue. I asked if the vet could take a peak and suggest something and then we'd make an appointment and wait. The vet was unavailable they said and they decided to check the gland anyhow. One tech left and came back with an electric razor. The other said my dog's glands felt empty. I asked them to stop several times and let me go make an appointment. The other girl starts shaving my dog and apologized for the bad haircut. Didn't ask. Just told me and said they wanted a better look. I said I had declined to have the groomer shave that area on Sunday because we didn't want to irritate it. She didn't stop. Then they looked and said you probably need to schedule an appointment and threw some powder on it. I come to the desk to make an appointment and I'm not only getting hit with the $25 anal gland bill, but another $25 for "wound care." I disputed that at the desk and I was further railroaded and talked over. Was told the office manager was unavailable. I called when I left and they told me he was on another call and would call me back in 10 minutes. I called an hour later and they said he left for the day on an emergency. I called the next morning and was told he was mowing the lawn. She didn't know if he got my message. I said I'd like to be taken seriously or I'm going to do a chargeback. He called me back 5 hours after their office closed and left a message. I didn't have my phone on because I was tied up. I spoke to him this morning and he lied and said he wasn't in the office the day I was there. Or the staff was lying. Who knows. But I'm not allowed to be upset or blunt with the rude staff who talk over me when they're railroading my concerns about being overcharged and more done to my dog than asked. This was the third time in a year I've had billing issues with their office and turnover staff. The vet is amazing. Rather than address the bad staff, who lied and told Mark I authorized all this, or fix the issues, they decided to give me a full refund and kick my dog out of the practice. Four years there without an issue until they hired rude people and techs who don't listen to the owners. They're so adamant about being in the right I wasn't allowed to come pick up her vet records and they insisted on mailing them. Meanwhile, where they shaved my dog out is so itchy to her she's making the area worse which is why I had asked them not to do it to begin with. Thanks for putting my dog through this and then kicking her out instead of fixing your issues. Avoid this place. The staff is terrible. Which is sad because we love the vet.

I'm actually a new client at Shiloh Animal Hospital. (2 puppy appointments) Everyone seems friendly and caring at this location so far. The wait times are spectacular, in and out! I plan to continue using this Vet. The prices are fair. When you call to make the first appointment they will charge a deposit fee that's applied toward the first visit total. I'm sure they do this because of people not showing up. Over all I made the right choice, choosing this Vet!

Everyone here is kind and caring. Dr. Maizie is a wonderful vet. She is warm and loving, and truly cares about the animals she sees. Her support as we went through the decision to have our cat put to sleep was invaluable. ❤

It's hard to put a review into words right now, as we ended up having to put our little cat, Pita, down today. However, the Dr and her entire staff was very sweet and caring. We we're told that we were welcomed to stay as long as we needed, even though they had already been closed for a half-hour.

My husband and I felt welcomed by the front office staff, to include our fur puppy, Chloe-D, received an even warmer welcome from Dr. Mazzei. I’m happy I did my research when seeking out a good veterinarian for our fur girl.

This is such an honest, affordable vet. The staff is amazing and caring. They didn’t hesitate to trim our dogs nails for a low fee and most importantly, they found out and cured an ongoing issue that our dog has had with his ears for years. We’ve seen several vets throughout the Miami Valley and have been told his ear issues are due to fleas, allergies to his food, allergies to grass or ear mites. We have spent hundreds on random flea and earmite medication, it turns out he never had them. This vet took a sample and had it tested the same day to figure out what was wrong and they were right! It’s been months since our last appointment and he no longer has issues with his ears. They also charged way less than any vet we’ve ever been to.
