Sherwin williams is good paint but you need to cater to the artists and have different paint medium and stuff, I like sherwin Williams but there's a lot of artists in Dayton area and they would like a place convenient and open every day where they can get professional grade supplies like spray cans and gel mediums. I am just making suggestion as an artist I don't really use their paint because I'm a cover it up with other paints. They probably won't take my suggestion because corporate don't care bout one guy so imma go back and give it 3 stars I don't know guess cause if you're corporate you can take it y'all the big dogs of paint

Call there for mud. Put on hold and just forgot about so the staff can't be that good.

Great staff members. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Helped us choose paint for several different projects. Highly recommend this particular store.EDIT 06-20-2023: My wife and I painted the living room over the weekend. On one wall we used the remainder of a previous paint can purchased from a big box store (BBS). It is their signature paint, so I am not making a comparison to the cheapest paint available. We used this paint because it is extending the colour from another room. The other walls were painted using Sherwin Williams (SW) and is a different colour.I painted using two different brands of paint back to back. It is important to note that both paints were the mid-range quality. I am not comparing SW's best paint to the BBS' worst. I cannot get over the quality difference between the two. The BBS paint is watery and I feel like I have to fight with it to apply. And it runs! I repeatedly had to go back and correct runs. 3 days later the paint still feels tacky to the touch. The SW paint was easy to work with. It is thicker, goes on very easy, and does not run. 12 hours after painting the paint was dry and wasn't the least bit tacky.I'm a believer and so happy our friend told us to got to Sherwin Williams.

I went into the store on Linden Avenue at Smithville Road to buy paint. The staff acted like I was interrupting their work day.

This store is complete trash.. I’m a GC and visit many Sherwin Williams stores in the area and this one is the worst I’ve visited. Store is dirty and not maintained like every store I’ve been to. That is a small thing though compared to the poor service. Not sure what company the associates work for but it’s obviously not the same Sherwin Williams company I’m used to. Product knowledge and customer service were non existent. I literally had to educate the employee that Sherwin Williams Carrie’s festool sanders. Knowing that Sherwin Williams is huge on training, it’s not a company problem, it’s a location problem. Get rid of these terrible brand ambassador’s, they’re completely unqualified to be in customer service. Furthermore, talking to my employees they have had the same experience and avoid this location. Sherwin Williams can surely do better than this.

This is how a Mr. TOM BETTKER left my home right before he smiled in my face and took the $400 I paid him for A WELL DONE AND “FINISHED” job. Tom forgot his sander the 3rd morning of a job that should have been finished in a day and decided on his own to just paint over the border that I wanted gone from my kitchen (refer to pictures on how that turned out.) He was supposed to fill multiple holes and fix the cracks around our kitchen window. (Cracks also shown POST Tom’s fine
