Erika and the staff at Routsong were nothing but wonderful as we laid our sweet grandma to rest last week. Their kindness and compassion shined through and their service was top notch. I highly recommend this company in your time of need. They truly helped make such a sad time in our lives much easier to manage. Thank you Routsong.

From the moment we walked in, their team showed nothing but empathy and kindness. They guided us through every step of the process with such care, making everything as easy as possible for us. They are so professional and caring throughout the entire experience. Max Routsong went above and beyond to help me send my mother's cremains through the postal service. Would definitely return should I ever need their services again.

Our family was so appreciative of the extraordinary kindness, support and tenderness around our brother's passing. It was a great comfort to be able to lean on Sam Routsong, who responded to our requests and needs so willingly and generously. He patiently answered our questions, walked through options and provided valuable input when asked. He is a kind and special person who has helped our family and so many others navigate through these difficult times after a loved one's passing. We experienced the same care and compassion when they handled our Mother's arrangements a couple of years prior. Sam and the whole Routsong team have our heartfelt gratitude. ??♥️

The people here are the very best! We were greeted with open arms, offered refreshments and given time to talk about our lost loved one before, during and after the funeral planning process. Jennifer is a rock star!Mom looked great and we are so very grateful for that.The facility is beautiful and they have a great showroom-with real caskets and sample caskets that we could really look at before choosing. Many funeral homes these days don't have a showroom and make you select a casket by looking at a computer screen.The staff was so helpful during the wake, funeral and graveside service...they gently directed us as to what we needed to do (and when) which helped us so much...when emotions are strong we can forget what we're supposed to do. Their assistance was vital and much appreciated.

When my husband died, we had to choose a funeral home. After investigating ,we decided on Routsong Funeral Home. We were so pleased with their efficient, helpful, thoughtful and kind assistance. We were so fortunate to have Jennifer Barlow as our director. Everything we desired, we were granted. The facility is lovely and very accommodating , We all felt the funeral could not have been better. We would recommend Routsong Funeral Home to anyone. Nancy Schardt.

Jennifer was amazing. She knew what to say and do for me. She was so polite and friendly. I was surprised with a memorandum about my mother. Our conversations helped Jennifer to understand who mom was and also the connection between mom and I. I would recommend the Routsong Funeral Home to everyone. They have a special way of caring about my mother and I. Thank you so much!

When our sweet little Yorkie, Winston passed away at home a little over a week ago, we knew that we wanted to have him cremated, so we searched for places that we felt he would be well taken care of. We were very familiar with Routsong funeral home, and when we watched the video on their website, it was evident that they loved animals and truly cared about them. We knew that’s where we wanted to take him. The ladies that greeted us when we arrived and helped us make his arrangements, could not have been any more kind, compassionate or caring. Six days later, I received a phone call that Winston was ready and once again, when I went to get him, the staff was truly amazing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I loved working with the Kettering location of Routsong Funeral Home. When I first visited them, I was working to get my cousin on Medicaid so I had to do Irrevocable Funeral Policies for my cousin's two life insurance policies. They spent so much time with me getting the correct paperwork and picking out what needed to be picked out in the beginning. It wasn't long after this that my cousin passed away so I was back over at Routsong making the final arrangements. They let me take all the time I needed to try to figure out what I thought my cousin would want. They were so helpful and patient with me. During the visitation, service, and graveside service they were so nice and attentive to anyone in attendance who needed anything. I was very happy that I had chosen to have Routsong take care of my cousin's funeral.

I never thought I'd be leaving a review for a funeral home, but, here we are. We worked with Max Routsong, making first contact with him just a few hours after my stepdad died. I don't even have the words to express how much easier he made our journey through those first few days. The entire office was generous with their time and expertise. We were a "detail oriented" (lol) family and very focused on giving one, last, great hurrah. With Max and the rest of the staff, we made it happen. I cannot thank Routsong, Max, and the entire staff enough.I am now experiencing what service is like from a different, out of state, funeral home with another family member, and it has really hit what amazing support we had from Routsong. I was even able to call Max almost two months later to pick his brain on an issue-- he picked up the phone immediately and remembered me just as fast.One tiny bit of advice - - take pics of the service and video of the speakers. We wish we had.

We had an exceptional experience with Routsong. The team was extremely attentive, patient with all our questions, and flexible with the planning. Max was fantastic and fun to work with. His dad Tom was fantastic, coordinating the funeral procession, burial, and generally beeping there to support. I can’t say enough good things about the ushers and everyone at Routsong who made our dad’s homegoing one to remember! The only feedback I would give would be to consider upgrading the live streaming services. The quality was not the greatest and didn’t capture the entire church service. All and all, thank you Routsong and staff. Highly recommend!

They do a wonderful job and are very caring. Funeral planning is never anything anyone wants to do, but Routsong really makes it so easy. With all of the services they offer including special requests they make everything perfect. My mother loved coffee, so they even brought in two baristas for a coffee bar at the visitation. Truly amazing.
