So thankful I visited today! Gabby was amazing. Been battling plantar fasciitis for a month. She offered 3 prs of shoes. I’ve been wearing Brooks for many years now, but the Hokas she brought fit me perfectly and gave Instant Relief! Wow! Super experience ! Highly recommend.

I was there today with my 2 year old granddaughter. The lady that helped us was amazing. I believe she said her name was Jean. We went through quite a few pairs of shoes before we decided on 3 pairs for her. Then it was my turn. They had my size (yay, size 11). So grandma got 2 pairs of shoes. When I was a young girl about 50 years ago (yikes) my mom always took us to Roderer's for our shoes. I'm carrying on this tradition. Love the personal attention.

Excellent selection, friendly people, nice location with good places to eat nearby, good rewards program, (they kept my information for years since my last visit and applied a nice discount). But know your size if you have an unusual situation like needing a narrow width or worse, having a normal overall length but a much longer measurement from the heel to the ball of the foot. (Mine was +3 to the ball of the foot over the regular shoe size). And spend time walking around in the shoes on their carpet before you decide, or you could end up with shoes that don't work for you.

Roderer’s reminds me of what a shoe store used to be! The service and selection is unparalleled. The sales people provide a level of service that you don’t get anymore. I was blown away!
On Mother’s Day, I came in as a first time shopper. I was in need of new athletic shoes after struggling with foot pain while exercising.
Jeff was my salesperson. He approached me asking if I needed helped. I explained my issues and he listened attentively to my issues and had some immediate feedback on what he thought was wrong. He had me stand on a scanner to see what my feet were doing. The scanner confirmed what he thought was my issue. He was so knowledgeable and provided tons of information for me. He brought out multiple pairs of shoes for me to try. Quickly, we learned Hoka’s were going to be my best option. Jeff then fine tuned my fit and got me into the perfect size. Turns out I’d been wearing 1 size too small shoes all these years!
I easily took up an hour of Jeff’s time. I never felt rushed by him to make a decision. I left thoroughly happy with my new Hoka’s. I will absolutely be back to get more in the future. I don’t think I’ll be buying shoes anywhere else.

I'll save you some time, if you wear a women's size 11, they do not have any shoes that size. So you don't need to bother going there.

Let me start this off by saying. I hate shopping for tennis shoes. I could never find the right fit or a style that I like. And to be honest I never really knew my correct shoe size. All that changed with the help of Natalie. She measured my feet accurately. And then brought me a selection of five different shoes to meet my needs. I never felt pressured or rushed, she gave all the time in the world I needed to decide on what I wanted. I will absolutely be back here again. I had such a wonderful experience. Thank you Natalie!

Kori the salesman was very polite and helpful. He invested a lot of time in helping find the perfect shoe for my needs and with his advice I have been extremely happy with my purchase!
The return policy from shopping in person is also amazing and really puts the customer first.

I mail ordered a pair of shoes from this company as the particular brand was being discontinued. It was the smoothest transaction I’ve had in years! Nice people, followed thru on all accounts. Received those shoes in two day!

Amazing! Their in store shoe selection is incredible! Pikolinos, vionic, Ugg, Cobb hill, taos, and so many more, the cutest stride rite shoes that I have not found anywhere, and it seems like they have every athletic brand available. The staff is great also! I live in the Cincinnati area and will be bypassing all the malls from here to Dayton to shop for all of my shoes at Roderer! Oh yeah! They also have a huge clearance room!

Waited and waited to be helped but wasn't when it was clearly my turn multiple times over, got the feeling my money wasn't good enough. That's ok though, Amazon has the same shoes. Didn't want to take my business there but oh well.

We went in today to find athletic shoes for my husband. The challenge is that after spinal fusion, he can't put shoes on by himself and cannot tie the laces. I had already looked at some Hokas because they had stretchy laces. Fortunately, Natalie and Gabby were helping us and pointed out 1) the Hokas I'd seen didn't have enough support for athletic walking; and 2) the stretchy laces could be put on ANY tie shoes. So he got the Brooks shoes that he really wanted, fitted with stretchy laces! We are very appreciative of Natalie's and Gabby's knowledge, professionalism, thoughtfulness and patience! That is why it's smarter to frequent a local store with such great staff!
