The person working the gun counter was dangerous. When a weapon doesn't perform as he believes it should, he simply attempts to manipulate it harder instead of learning the safe and correct way to operate it. When informed, management seemed disinterested. Go somewhere else that is safe and professional.

It kills me to see all these bad reviews. I’ve been trading with this shop for 25 years. The entire staff has been nothing but kind to me. As far as prices, they are a family owned establishment so if the price is a little higher, then so what. These people shop where I work and we’re trying to keep our neighbors in business. They do offer discounts and lay a way. What more can you ask for? Love the one of a kind items they offer. I appreciate having them serve the community!

I love pawn shops, but not this one. If you want to spend 20-30% more on a used item rather than a simple Google search, then come here. They had new cymbals marked $110 higher than "Sweetwater" online. That's crazy to me. There are zero deals here. You're better off just going to Hauer in Centerville. They'll actually work with you there.

Brought in brand new good merchandise owner told me my 30 piece skill router bit set was generic and they actually come in a 60 bit set for $100 and they don't even make a 60 piece set he's a lair to get you to lower the price all around worse pawn shop I ever been to had me wheel all my stuff in and then tells me they have to much stuff already and they are not buying anymore stuff at this time then why have me load everything up and bring it to you?.........

Don't know how good Rich's is about buying or pawning stuff but if you are looking to buy they have a lot of stuff from music instruments, tools, jewelry, and guns. Prices are ok

Absolutely the worst pawn shop in Dayton! These people will swindle you down to the penny. All of there products are overpriced! And much of the merchandise is obviously stolen. These people have no decency. I guess you shouldn't expect much dealing with a pawn shop but literally any other pawnshop in Dayton will give you a better price and sell their merchandise at low prices and give you good dealsDo yourself a favor and avoid this place unless you are selling stolen items because they will definitely take them.

Went in today and felt as if I was being targeted from the very beginning. Was browsing and looking at their wares and literally had some kid constantly looking at me like I was a theft! Will not be coming back and would never recommend. Fix your customer service and quit making people uncomfortable while looking around.

I'm giving this one star they were rude, had nasty remarks talking about me while I was deciding to buy a pendant for my wife's birthday. Because I have long hair they made marks telling me I could come in and play dress up any time I liked. Then when I was looking at other items I heard them say my wedding band was probably the most expensive thing I ever bought in my life. I have bought multiple items from them in the past but I will never be going bad I recommend that unless you want to be treated poorly as customer you don't either.
