Why does the web site show there was no delays for my service on Christmas then the next day it shows its delayed your company sucks

They took the trash can and we had everything stacked neatly against it and when they lifted the van they sent everything scattered. The boxes can’t fit so they had to be out of the can. No one picked it up. We have had so many issues with them. We tried contacting someone…. No response!!!! You would think having a rating of 1.8 you would do something about it.

This is my third week waiting for a trash can and recycling bin. Each week they say it will arrive by Friday, and once again, nothing. I called today for the fourth time, and they now say it will be this Friday. The CS rep said it usually takes three weeks or more. I am not sure I will ever get service.

Initially, it took me six phone calls to finally get a hold of someone who could help me set up new trash services. Then, I never saw containers, an invoice, or anything else. The first thing I received from Republic Services was a past due notice more than a month later. It took me more than half an hour on the phone while being passed to four separate people to cancel my account. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. No pun intended, but their service is trash.

What a great sales department! I was impressed with the knowledge and especially the effort shown by Tandi who assisted with my needs. She went above and beyond which is hard to find these days. After all of the back and forth with other companies, it was nice to have someone fully explain to help me. Great!

Its a "fine-print" 3 year contract with hefty cancellation fees that renews into another 3 year term. It'll cost more than just owning a dump trailer if you're a small business and handy. They might show up on the scheduled days.. We had to call and ask for updates and/or report missed pick ups several times throughout our three years. Overall, the customer services reps have all been very pleasant (that's what earned them any stars) but the actual service was very disappointing. I've spent way too much time figuring out when our dumpster was going to be emptied for spending $170+ month.To cancel, we are required to mail a written notice by certified mail with a return receipt and finding the correct address or whom to address it to is nearly impossible. I've stopped searching to write this review.... Wish me luck on finding it.

After a fiasco with Rumpke, I was leary after reading all.of the bad reviews. They have called weekly to make sure the service has been smooth. They stopped in to check on our biz. It has been a great experience.

They have horrible service . Have to call them frequently to pick up and they NEVER come the same day - usually 2 days later . Unfortunately we have to use this service our city has contracted with them . Their usual excuse is a service delay - probably their go to line - but they sure expect that bill to be paid on time . HORRIBLE COMPANY - WISH I COULD CHANGE

I just just moved into the neighborhood about a month ago and my trash has failed to been picked up the last 4 times, I've called a half a dozen times and I get the same response each time of rescheduling a pickup that they also don't come and do, and at this point I've literally paid for an entire month without getting a single bit of my trash picked up, literally a useless company.

They are good at sales and then it stops there. Prices will go up and you cannot get out of it. Once you complain, you don't hear back from them. Wish I did not have to give them one star.

Oh my, where do I begin?! Several years ago Republic picked up and removed the little recycling tote from the end of our drive. Well, I just happened to have another one so the next recycling week I put this one out to the street and they took this one too. I called them and they stated that they were no longer using the small totes and were taking them back. They explained that customers were complaing about bees around and in the totes. I explained that this last one was my own personal property and that we need this back to collect cans and bottles. I never did receive it back, so since then we have not been recycling cans, glass or plastic. A couple years ago I called for a replacement trash toter since ours was broken. They told me they would exchange the toter on "Wednesday". Well, Wednesday came but no replacement. I called again and was told it is scheduled for the following Wednesday. OK, I get it. So, next Wednesday came and no new toter. I called again, and was told there is no record of me requesting a replacement. Are you kidding me?! They had no record of any of my conversations and requests. So, they scheduled it again. This time we received the replacement toter. I also asked to speak to a "supervisor" at this time. I was given a number for a lady, and called her. I left a message but did not hear back from her for a couple weeks. She left me a message, but I did not return her call because I was so over it. Two weeks ago I called to have one of our 3 toters removed because we only need 2 toters now. I was told they would pick up one of the toters on Wednesday, (this is familiar). Wednesday came and the toter was still sitting at the street. So, I called again and was told it was scheduled for the next Wednesday, which is today. So, we had all 3 toters at the street, including the 1 which they need to take back. I looked out there this afternoon and we only have one toter, they took 2 instead of 1!!! What on earth!!!!!! I called them again and she stated that the records show we had 2 toters and wanted 1 to go back. I was so exhausted and frustrated, I replied that we had 3 toters and 1 needs to go back, leaving us with 2. Well, they are supposedly scheduled to bring us 1 toter next Wednesday, so we will have 2. I am not holding my breath!! I have owned and ran 4 businesses, 2 currently, and I absolutely would be out of business if I ran my company as incompetently as Republic does.Service: Trash removal & disposal

Terrible customer service! Rumpke is 1/2 price. Contract includes 3YEAR!!! Autorenew that they will enforce if you don’t cancel in a short window. AVOID!!!!!Service: Yard debris removal

This company should just sell their business to one of the better waste companies because they are getting ridiculous. They come whenever they want and they don’t give any notice, everybody’s understaffed, but to not have any professionalism to your customers is crazy.Service: Trash removal & disposal

Very poor service. My trash has not picked for three days and this isn’t the first time that this has happened. I would not recommend this to anyoneService: Trash removal & disposal
