A very nice shop, with many gift ideas for wedding parties or special keepsakes. I have purchased items here and were all excellent quality.
I have also had items engraved and found the service very prompt and top notch. Staff is wonderful.

Jeff and staff are so wonderful! This is the ONLY place to go if you want something engraved or are looking for a unique gift! I have been a customer since 2011 and cannot say enough good things about open haus!

On a Monday, I dropped off a small chest. I explained that it was for a military retirement on Saturday. We had a good conversation and planned the engraving, which he (Jeff the owner) quoted as being done on Wednesday. The week went by and I received no communication from Jeff. Saturday, the morning of the ceremony I called him. He had an excuse for the piece being unfinished and said he could have it done by 1130. I said I can be there at 12 due to previous commitments. I arrived at 1204, the doors locked, lights out, and no answer to my phone call or text. The following week I expected a return call or text. But no. 4 days went by and it took me traveling to the store. To his credit, he did offer the item at no charge.
This is the 2nd time we used this service. Once before he missed his 2-week deadline and we barely got some medals on time. I always try to give people a second chance, but this is on him. Late service/ bad customer relations beat good service.
This is not a place you want to rely on for something you absolutely need to be done within 1-2 weeks.

The shop is really lovely with all manner of cool things that can be purchased and personalized. The owner does great work and is quite reasonable in price.

They were able to engrave a pocket watch for my husband within 24 hours, and it was beautiful. Definitely recommend.

I visited this place on Jan 22, 2024 but I will not be visiting this business again. They did not greet me or ask If I needed any help while I browsed their merchandise. Did any one else have this problem?

I called Mr. Shrader to verify my order and engraving on my order that was recommended by the Pines. There was a slight change in the engraving. I had just talked to Mr. Shrader on the phone on the change of engraving. And we agreed on a follow-up conversation. I called Mr. Shrader back a few minutes later to finalize the change. A co-worker answered the phone. She stated she could make the change. I stated I had just got off the phone with Mr. Shrader and wanted to talk to him. She did not like that. What she did not know is I had in the past had a problem with engraving by another company years ago, and the problem became beyond repair. So, I wanted to make sure the engraving was done properly by keeping the communication between the same person. When I went to pick up my dog's ashes later in the day, the same lady I spoke with on the phone serviced me. SHE MADE IT A POINT TO BE KURT AND RUDE! I don't understand the Hateful Behavior!

OpenHaus delivered a miracle for me this week! I placed an extremely short notice order for four decanters sandblasted with a logo and words on the front and a quote on the back. The owner, Jeff Shrader, is extremely accommodating and only knows the word “yes” when you make a request! And, I even made a change to the order at the last moment! Jeff reacted and delivered! The decanters turned out well! Jeff’s design work and the sandblasting itself were crisp and detailed. I’m thrilled! I will be back!

This place is one of the most interesting and charming stores in the region. The folks are so nice. I have had some engraving done there to customize gifts and the work is excellent and they are super responsive. Overall, a great experience!

Can not say enough good things about these folks. Their work is impeccable and the customer service is through the roof. I had a last minute etching need with a very short turnaround, the OpenHaus team went above and beyond to make it happen, in turn making me look like a hero. Kind, personable, talented and just good folks to team with. Thank OpenHaus, you have a long term customer here!!
