Huge selection but hard to find anything. Video games are mostly sports games. Dvds are okay if you have a big collection like me you wont find anything. It is a good value but nothing like I seen online. I wanted a hard back Little Women for my mom and I couldn't find it anywhere. Did get a vintage Heidi and a Faulkner but not worth the drive from Kentucky.

OMG I love this place! Truly every book in the whole place is a dollar! And there so many! It's a book lovers dream. Can look rather odd from the street, not well marked and does not look like a bookstore. But just wait til you get inside!

What an overwhelming number and assortment of books for anyone and everyone! The exterior of the building is very run down and the parking lot driveway was full of potholes... But inside the building, things were very organized and well labeled. There was the opportunity to buy a bag of children's books for $10... The rest of the books were either $1 or $1.25...a real bargain! At the checkout, everyone all the staff were friendly and efficient.

I love used bookstores and one where books cost $1.25 is great! I've got to go back again soon to see what else they have in stock. I wasn't able to hit the overflow room but that just gives me a reason to go back. The pictures in my review are from the check out area. The blue door leads to the overflow room and the shelves are the main area within the store.

Every visit is unique because you literally never know what they'll have. I was sad this last time that there was almost no audiobook section but the homeschool curriculum section is growing! My kids, ages 9-15, could spend all day there. Plan at least an hour. 2-3 hours if you love books as much as our kids do!

I had heard great things about this place, but was a bit disappointed with the selection of books. I will definitely check back to see if I can find more for my library. You can’t beat $1.25 for books!!

The most wonderful place to fill your book shelves. Line your recipe shelf. Build your child's library and enhance your bank of Dvd's! Dollar tree can't even give you a better deal and here you get very well known titles!!!Awesome

This is my favorite place to go to hunt for books. This store has helped me complete many of my collections. I've found hard to find books here, classics, and stuff for every age at this place. The prices are fantastic and you could spend hours here! The staff is usually so helpful and so friendly. Definitely a hidden gem!! I tell everyone about it and have sent many people their and none have been disappointed.

Great space for book lovers! Grunge and hidden location feel... I love it! If you love books... you must pay this place a visit. The staff helped me find what i was looking for 'young-adult space' books.

Really liked this place! Parking is in the rear of the building which is a little awkward & it is not air conditioned (lots of fans though!). Plenty of books, great kids selection especially. I had a difficult time finding adult fiction as they had a "favorite authors" section (which is great!!), but some of those authors were also mixed in the a-z fiction & overstock sections & not always well alphabetized so I had to look multiple places to find the authors/books I was looking for. I will definitely come back though when I have more time to browse.

Great place to get books for children. The books are organized only into very broad categories, not arranged by author or title, so it’s difficult to find anything in particular, but on the other hand they only cost $1.25! So it’s well worth the visit, especially for young children that love books, but haven’t yet learned to be careful with them.It does appear that any books that are more valuable online than $4 or so are quickly gone - either by staff or resellers, so it’s unlikely that you will find anything that’s on Amazon for more than $5. But again, for children that’s not much of an issue. But if you are looking for newer releases or popular authors that have not hit mass paperback yet, it’s unlikely to be here. But for obscure authors, or for best sellers that are in mass paperback form, or pulp fiction, they do have a huge volume of books.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is very helpful and patient. Loads of new inventory always coming into the place. It's more than just a bookstore, it can be an all-day adventure.

We live in Cinti and make the trip up a few times a year and we always walk out with a couple bags of books. The place is super organized and if you are a true book lover you could easily spend hours there.

I mean, as a fellow book lover and avid reader... when you said $1.25 books, how can you resist! We made a road trip from Chicago to Dayton and it was so much fun. It was just a few hours, and when we pulled up it looks like nothing but a warehouse on the outside but when you go inside it it's a book lover's paradise. The warehouse has pallets and pallets of books but then gets sorted into shelves and shelves of different categories. They even have a book tok shelf they gets cleared out often & replenished just as often too. You'll also find classic books and encyclopedias, cookbooks and a whole children's section. To the right you'll find movies, audiobooks, and a back room with overstock bins for you to dig through. Along with a room where you fill a bag of children's books for a set price. In that same room are all of the mass media copies of books. One could spend hours and hours in there and find so many hidden gems. I gave myself 1 hour and I walked out with 12 books for myself & a whole bunch to donate to my friend's classroom. Which by the way they have a program where they donate books to classrooms! All in all, if you love books and want a fun experience... you are in for a treat at Dollar Book Swap!
