Newcomer Funeral Home has an exceptional Funeral Director, Lindsey Rathje, in their Centerville location. Her calm, patient manner was a great help to me and my family during our most difficult time. We felt her sincere caring and compassion while making arrangements for the celebration of life that was befitting to the incredible man that was my husband. She not only was professional, but went above and beyond her call of duty to make certain that she took care of every single detail. She made us all feel like was a long time family friend and yet we had only just met her.

I was so pleased with Newcomer in Centerville. They were so accommodating. They were compassionate and understanding. Kate was amazing and caring. Helped with my children and showed great care with my baby girl.

I could not have been more pleased with the staff at the Centerville Newcomer location. From start to finish they were gracious, understanding, sympathetic and Professional. Lindsey, Kate and Cyndi helped walk me through the process as if they were family. If you are looking for a good experience, you can trust they will do the job with dignity and excellent service. Until one of my parents passed away recently, I had never planned a funeral before and I had a lot on my plate with everything else going on, including major health issues with the other parent. But Newcomers made the process very stress free. They were very helpful; they helped us arrange the church service, coordinate with the cemetary and helped with the paperwork such as the insurance policy and death certificates. Someone always got back to us quickly with answers to our questions. The entire process went very smoothly. We were very pleased. Thank you!

Unfortunately I needed funeral services for a second time this year and went with Newcomers again based on the great job they did back in the spring. Paula and Jessica from the Moraine location were very accommodating, supportive and easy to work with. This was our first time using the Centerville facility but it was very nice and everything ran smoothly thanks to Jessica and other staff. I will use Newcomers again if the need arises and refer anyone who needs funeral services to this establishment. Thanks you Newcomers!
