Reach out-ask for help; provide the needed documents. Be patient due to the volume of folks needing help and let the agency do what it can do.

They're great. The true gold standard in the typical government workers we all know and love. Just walking in and interacting with them, you can tell how much they really care. Quite the experience! The sad part is the taxes from your labor when youbwere actually making it is whats paying their salaries, butbthen when you have a hard time they take every chance to throw a monkey wrnech in your need for assistance. Petty people.

I was blessed to receive a new furnace and hot water heater and wall insulation form the Weatherization Program. Free is not always good. The contractor JH Heating & Air LLC they used paid no attention to detail, their staff never wore booties while working at my house. The crew of the Community Action Partnership did not wear booties either. The men that blow insulation in my walls had no way of knowing how much to pump in so the blow up the walls around 3 of my window and pushed out the electrical outlet on the outside wall in my kitchen. After installing vents across the top of my home the roof leaked. Before all of this I never had a leak in my roof. They did a repair to stop the leak, however when it rains I get a damp musty odor. I have told them about it and was told what I am smelling is the insulation. I believe the roof is still leaking and the smell is the insulation when it rains because I don't smell it when it is not raining.I am just waiting for the ceiling to come.
