Took my Rolex in for a battery change. I haven't worn the watch for quite sometime. So disappointed that they wanted over $1,400 for battery replacement and a list of non-necessary items thrown in for me to repair. I've owned the watch for 20 years and had it completely overhauled 6 years ago in Newport Beach, CA and since then have worn it about 5 times. This is the most ridiculous strong arming tactic I've ever seen. Telling me I need to do all sorts of work on a watch that is seldom worn. I'm so disappointed to learn my local jeweler would be so Scamming. Watch your wallets people.

I needed a battery replaced in my Tag chrono, so off to James Free in the Hills I went. First time in right off the bat super attentive & courteous staff. After detailing my need I was quickly introduced to Chris in sales. Very enthusiastic & eager to help! Very basic service though, he took the time to explain in careful details, along with care for timepiece examination. Found a minor flaw and assured me it would not affect the process. So off I went and in wait for the return of service. To my surprise the service took less time, so back I went in anticipation! To my delight all was satisfactory & my timepiece looked amazing. Chris showed me new product line in my guilt pleasure of watch collecting. He listened & was very informative in product knowledge. I would use the company again the future & would look forward to dealing w/ Chris again! Thx u all!

Incredibly kind and helpful people!! Kenneth took such great care of me today when I came in to get my husband’s wedding ring resized. So pleased with the experience here- would highly recommend paying them a visit for jewelry repair!

Debbie and Michael were so caring and attentive during my shopping experience. Debbie took her time to help me find the best set of earrings as we talked and connected about being me being a new mom. Michael constantly checked in to offer beverages or chocolate and was such a big sweetie. After purchasing my earrings they made my 6 month old son his own shopping bag with a stuffed animal in it. They made my day! You have a customer for life!

I had a fantastic experience and recently purchased two watches. Rachel, Tori, and Mike all helped me as a team. They were all very knowledgable and helped me configure the specifications of exactly what I wanted! They have fantastic inventory and really provide personalized service with excellent communication.

What a great establishment! My engagement ring and wedding band (neither purchased from James Free) had come out of round months ago, causing the stone on my engagement ring to be pretty loose. I'd procrastinated taking them anywhere to be fixed, because I assumed it'd be expensive. I walked into James Free expecting to shell out several hundred dollars, and they simply fixed them for free! My husband also needed to have his wedding band resized and the cost to do that was very reasonable. The customer service seems to be top notch, no matter what amount you're spending, which I appreciate. I'll certainly go back for any needs in the future!

By far the best place in our region to shop for watches. Their service in impeccable, and as others have stated, when I went in for the first time I knew no one. I was able to quickly establish a relationship with both Randy and Matt, both were able to answer all of my questions and walk me through how they do business. Typically I've had no loyalty when it comes to shopping for higher end watches, but this will be my store from now on. Thanks for all you do!

Undoubtedly the best place to buy jewelry in Dayton/Cincinnati area. I walked in a couple years ago knowing no one and was greeted with so many friendly faces and five star service. Their prices are very reasonable and they treat their customers like family. Matt, my sales rep and GM, has been exceptional to me and has become like family. He always follows up to make sure I am happy with my purchases, he checks in with me and lets me know when requested items arrive to the store, and has made each buying experience very enjoyable.I have been buying jewelry and watches from James free for years now and highly recommend to choose them for your special occasion.

I reached out to James Free Jewelers in Dayton where I was connected with Rachel. Rachel walked me through the process from taken down my exact order to periodic check-ins to keep me up to date on the progress and to invite me out to some of their special sales. She was a true professional throughout. Very caring, knowledgeable, and honest.Once my timepiece arrived she called with the good news and to set-up a time for me to come in. Rachel helped me understand everything about the timepiece and all that comes with it. I am sincerely glad and honored I was able to work with her on acquiring my dream timepiece.
