“Just speaking on the bookstore and not the rest of the stalls - I didn't find the specific book I was looking for but there is a really great selection here overall and the prices are fantastic. All hardbacks and everything is $3, so easy to tote up how much you find. (One small shelf has some under-$3 but there's nothing much popular there.) I ended up with another book that I'm very happy with and would come back here in a heartbeat! You can also drop off all your unwanted books in large bins outside (like huge post office boxes) if you're looking to get rid of any. The selection inside looked pretty curated so it looks like they only resell the best ones? The whole store and all book donations go towards the Dayton-area Project Read which helps get free books into the hands of schoolkids, so I expect they especially like book donations aimed at the 18 and under set.Anyway, as far as the shopping experience goes - it's easy to find everything, check out is very friendly, and there are lots of fun & unusual snacks by the checkout counter, if you want a snack while you read. I was particularly taken with the "RC Cola & Moon Pie" display since I'm from Chattanooga.”

“Granted it is Forth of July weekend, I showed up at Joann fabrics at 6:50 pm made my selection swiftly, even thou was pushed thru. Went to the cashier to check out at 7;04 pm I was told my order could not be completed because I had a 100.00 bill and I had not spent 50.00 of it. My order came to 29.00. I expressed that I could quickly make up the difference. I was told no and the exit doors were opened for me. Sitting in the parking lot right now the last customer exited. I have been coming here weekly spending at least 50.00-100.00 every week. This was a new place I was excited about. Not s as my more. I also am disabled and explained that I was sorry when I came in I was late due to my disability. I was not however late finding and checking out. “We have begun looking for furniture for our theater to update things. We stopped here to try & find a couple end tables. We bought things here before and we enjoy the creative aspect of their goods. The first thing that caught my eye was a wine bar made from an old steel tank. Adorable. Some of the light fixtures were also very creative and cute. Unfortunately we didn't find end tables that fit our needs. I'm sure I'll shop here again when looking for furniture.”

“This was my first time stopping in when they were holding Holiday Open House. It was so much fun! There were sample drinks and snacks. The holiday decorations were gorgeous as usual. I just love this house to begin with but when it's Christmas time, it is so special. My favorite part is the fireplace in the dining room. They always have a great selection of items for sale. This time, I was able to snag a couple of items for Thanksgiving, an ornament for a gift and a Dayton magnet for my fridge. The women here are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful and just fun to hang out with! Add on to all this that its for the Dayton Children's Hospital--how can you go wrong?”
