Adison and Laura provide excellent service. Today, Adison conducted my trans actions quickly and efficiently. She always asks if I need anything else. Love that Ruth is always there if you have a question.

HFCU blocked my Visa after having the account for almost 20 years citing they needed income verification. Provided my W2’s and now they are saying I have to reapply… it’s an established account. Neither the President or VP will respond to me directly… terrible customer service on a loyal customer for 20 years.

Customer service is trouble. When it was Rey&Rey FCU the service was great. With each merger the service has gotten progressively worse. I finally closed my accounts that I had since 1990. It has been 10 days and I have yet to received my final check. The excuse is we don’t control the mail. I would have paid for another form of postage but not give the option.

This place is a joke! Management Mary Turner and HR Cassandra Ewing allow certain employees Ashley Kapnas to do as they please, purposefully disregarding rules as long as the bottom line loans are profitable.

what kind of credit union does not offer a simple registration online to pay your loan payment?! this is absolutely inconvenient having to go to my bank, get authorization, send in paperwork just to pay my bill online??!! this is outrageous and not worth the low interest rate at all. people are busy. I'm not 95 years old and sending checks through the mail either, that is not a safe or reliable way to pay bills these days. postal carriers are not reliable. why as a loan company do you make it so difficult to pay a bill? I'm super frustrated with this and not to mention MS Kathy Kremer emailing me back in response to my concerns capitalizing words in her email like I'm a moron to explain your ridiculous process. I am highly irritated and irate.

The ethics, business practices, and customer non service has enraged dozens of members. This nonprofit is everything a credit union is not supposed to be!

There have been so many issues with banking since the update. I could not access my information for a week, all of the transaction history was deleted and I was told I would receive it in the mail and have yet to. There is suddenly a transfer limit so my boyfriend is not even able to transfer money from his savings to his checking account. I have called numerous times about these issues and have been unable to speak to someone because they have put me on hold for up to an hour before I gave up. There’s no way to contact anyone on weekends for assistance, and they don’t even have the new mobile app ready for use. We’ve been at this bank for years and will be leaving and going to a new one.

God forbid you need somebody to call you back because they never do.. only way you will get a response is if you email them. If you're unlucky enough to get a callback from your email, it's usually from some of the absolute rudest customer service people I have ever spoke with! They love to talk to you like you are an idiot who has never banked in your life, they do not listen to you whatsoever and just talking over you. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to bank here— if you get an offer to finance a loan through them, SKIP IT! It's a nightmare. Can't wait to refinance and get away from these people.

After having my account (savings & credit line) with Heartland for 20+ years they cancelled my line of credit and sent me a letter stating I could "APPLY" for a new Visa. How generous. Mind you, my credit line has ALWAYS been in excellent standing... the Visa just yielded more interest (APR) I suppose. This is certainly not how you treat loyal 20+ year customers.

Their customer service is terrible. All branches share the same number and there isn't a way to contact anyone. The menu does not allow you to speak with an individual. If your request is anything other than something automated, the menu sends you to a voicemail general delivery box. This doesn't help when trying to make a Loan payment and the mobile banking isn't working. If it wasn't for my vehicle loan, I would never use them. Better to try Wright Pat Credit Union or MidUSA Credit Union.

Stay away if you are looking for a good credit union. I found out that Heartland is nothing more than a BANK disguised as a credit union. Your a number not a person or member.
