I walked in this place in hopes to get my 5 year old daughters hair cut, typically a 10-20 minute process. myself, my friend and my 5 year old daughter go in at about 7 pm the sign and google says open till 8. pm. we walk in and wait patiently, while the woman behind the counter was standing talking with a customer, talking, more so gossiping. We stood there for about 20-25 minutes, patiently waiting for the gossip to stop. Kathy and Teresa seen us and did not greet us what so ever. At that; let us wait there for 20-25 minutes knowing we were waiting to inquire with a question and did not even ask if we needed help when her gossip was finally over with her friend. She immediately walked away and started packing her bags, I assume in hopes to head home. this is 7:25pm by now. so we almost had to hackle for her attention to bother her with a question. after waiting 24 or so minutes.
when we asked if they had time for a quick 5 year old hair cut, she proceeded to tell us they were booked for the night and they're going home they've been there all day. She didn't offer to find us an appointment for another day or mention our time spent wasted and her attempted at ignoring us....
I totally understand being booked or going home, but to not greet a customer and to allow them to wait in hopes that they just leave is insane. the customer service here is very poor. I used to go to this salon along time ago and thought id take a risk at walking in. That was in fact a risk, that wasted most of our time. The salon looked dated and unfriendly, cliquey almost; never the less I was able to get my daughters hair trimmed that night last minute with a better salon down the road, much friendlier and willing to adapt to a quick kids cut, I will not recommend this salon.

I love this salon and all the women in it. They’re all so nice and Kathy always does a great job trimming my curly hair. The salon is always clean and everybody is always nice and accommodating.

I got my hair cut for the first time in over 4 years today by Cindy. I was feeling insecure & haven’t looked after myself very well since having a child- I decided to chop off my hair and get a balayage. I felt so comfortable the whole time I was there & Cindy was the sweetest & most gentle with my hair! I feel confident and like a brand new person. Highly recommend ?Services: Hair coloring

I have been going to Hairy Situations for some time now. They have always gone out of their way to make sure I am totally satisfied!! This is a great place to get your hair done!! Kathy the owner is very kind and she runs a very clean shop. All of the stylists are really great! My favorites are Teresa and Sarah but you would love whoever you get!! They are really amazing! I always look great when I leave there and believe me, that is saying something!!

I love the people who work at Hairy Situations. They're concern is that you're satisfied. They are excellent in what they do. I have extremely curly hair and this is the place where I can actually get quality products that control the frizz while allowing my hair to curl naturally. My cut and color are always outstanding!!!!
