GDRA accepts all - I've been a member for years and love intro other's to this wonder sport. The boat house is easy to find and when on the water our little part of water has lot's of wild life to see and watch. There is a boat for anyone - you don't have to be a top athlete to row and there are member's here that have all level's of experience. Plus you don't need to own - there are many boat's that are club owned that you can row!

Greater Dayton Rowing is a great group of people to row with. It's a great stretch of river. They care for their facilities and equipment. They are friendly and welcoming. Whether you are new to rowing or an experienced racer, you'll find what you need here.

A great group of rowers who support recreational as well as competitive rowing. Members of the club have access to a large selection of singles, doubles, quads and eights and even ergs for winter workouts. If you are new to rowing check out their Learn To Row program; if you are an experienced rower new to the area check out their website and contact anyone listed there.

As someone who has always wanted to try rowing, the Learn to Row session was phenomenal. The club has a great group of experienced rowers who are always generous with their time and expertise to help new and established rowers, on the water and erging off season. The large selection of boats, low-cost membership and enthusiastic support for those new to rowing has made this club a great find for me. There is a lot of fun and a great workout to be had for all at GDRA and a great way to meet like-minded people!

Learn-to-Row classes were fantastic. Beautiful and convenient downtown location provides a little piece of nature in the city. Everyone I’ve interacted with since joining has been welcoming and helpful.

If you're a rower this is the place to be in Dayton. Though this temporary boathouse doesn't have the normal amenities of the normal boathouse, it still offers the same basic principle, boats, oars, and a dock.
