Why is it at this goodwill store, it seems like
few of the morning cashiers their names are Ann and Kayla, seems like they isn’t doing their jobs, they are walking around or in groups talking or no where to be around, they are disrespectful to some of us customers and their coworkers, but the other employees in the late afternoon or evening are making sure me and other customers are taking care of and are respectful to us.

Absolutely the worst most disorganized Goodwill I've ever set foot in. Clothes aren't arranged by size. Specially not the men's clothing which gets little to no thought or attention. I go here a lot because its convenient, but every time I ask myself "why?". There are treasures to be found in the general merchandise area, but even that is wildly unorganized and unkempt. Do better.

I don’t know everything, but I know a few things.I know that I’m blessed to be able to make charitable donations.I know that Goodwill takes returns within one week of purchase as long as the tag is still affixed.I know that once you give Goodwill your money, they keep it forever. They don’t refund in cash. They don’t credit your credit card. They only give Goodwill gift cards/store credit.I (don’t) know how one could abuse that policy for personal monetary gain.I know I’ve never tried.I know that I buy more than most because I try to raise money for breast cancer research and other charities.I know that I return more than most because, well, because I buy more than most.I know that items that have flaws that I missed in the store, or overestimated their value, are of no use to me and need to be returned.I know that I follow their return policy.I know that the Beavercreek assistant manager threatens to refuse to take returns on a regular basis. In fact, she does it so often that her behavior is well known by employees at other Goodwill locations.I know she lets her associates complain about having to return the items to the floor.I know that associates are paid to return items to the floor.I know she makes loud comments that are inappropriate.I know that she thinks adding “pretty” at the end of her commands makes them acceptable.I know that it doesn’t.I know that I won’t return to this location.I know that’s a shame.I know that means I won’t shop as much or donate as much.I know that that’s a shame.I know that Goodwill won’t receive as much money from me.I know that that’s a shame.I know that she’s acted this way for so long and her behavior is so well known that upper management/corporate is unlikely to step in now.I know that that’s a shame.I know that I won’t return to that store. And I know that that’s a shame.

LarderRoom...You know I love a good thrift store. Goodwill Beavercreek never disappoints. I stop in every chance I get because they are ALWAYS restocking. My only complaint is that sometimes the prices are a little high, AND during the holidays, they take over the already small men's section with Halloween and/or Christmas decor. This is a nicer store with plenty of parking.

Seems like a great location. They had a section of Halloween items to prepare for next month. The prices on these and other items seemed reasonable.

Somethings are over priced. Consistent bad experience each time I go. Have had multiple issues and when I bring it up to staff to find a solution they kinda just look at me blankly and confused. Not very eager to find a solution or help. Had a situation one time where an associate accidentally dropped a porcelain piece breaking it (not upset at her, accidents happen!) I asked if I could still by it at a major discounted price so I could piece it back together (let’s be real they were going to toss it in the trash anyways) manager came back and told me the best they could do was $9 instead of the $10 it was originally marked for (when I was in perfect condition and not broken)…. Manager fought me on it and eventually frustratingly sold it to me for $4 and then stomped off mumbling something under her breath. It wasn’t even like I was getting angry or flustered or copping attitude with anyone. I was just asking to be treated fairly. I had spent hundreds… probably thousands of dollars at this goodwill prior to this just to be treated not so kindly. I vowed to never go back here and regrettably went back the other day since it’s the closest goodwill to me and had yet another bad experience. I’m sure I’ll go back but literally only because it’s the only one close. I’ll be very weary about what I buy there moving forward knowing the customer service won’t be so good if something happens. I’d suggest going to the goodwill near woodman Dr. (Not the bins the actual store). They are supppper supper sweet over there! Always have a good experience there.

I shop this Goodwill location on an occasional basis. As with the other Goodwill locations I shop, it is always a bit of a mixed bag of items available for purchase. They usually have a fairly good selection of used men's clothing.

Good selection, my husband found a lot of good deals but I found it frustrating that the women's clothing appeared to be sorted by color and not by size (despite the size markers on the racks). All the items I liked were either way too small or way too large. Really, extra small and 2x should not be mixed together on the same rack!

Very Large Goodwill store and you're certain to find something at this one! Friendly staff and wide selection. Ample parking and there are usually quite a few household items as well as clothing. It is in the vicinity of other shopping places, so make a day of it! Look for the color barb of the week on the clothing to get an additional 50% off. Thank you for your service to the Miami Valley!

I moved here from Michigan. I have made two donations at this site and both were bad experiences because of the donation drop off guy. He is surly and obviously doesn’t want to do his job. First time was Memorial Day. They were busy so I made a comment about the holiday being a good day for spring cleaning. He responded that people should be at cemeteries honoring their dead family members instead of there. Which is where he would be if he didn’t have to work. I’m from MI, I don’t have a cemetery to visit in Ohio. Today, I dropped off more stuff. The cars were stacked up. But I was next in line and thought I’d help by grabbing my donation. I saw others before me doing the same thing. This time he chastised me for not waiting my turn and he couldn’t fill out the form, even though my stuff was sitting right there and he saw what I brought. When people bring stuff to Good Will, they are making a donation. Giving. Can you tell this guy not to be such an a**hole joy kill in the future?

On the pricier end of Goodwills, but the apparel and shoe selection is pretty great and well organized. The homewares section is a bit messy. They do mark up what they consider "name brand" clothes (Tommy Hilfiger, Loft, Gap hoodie for $7) though. There are plenty of staff, all of whom are friendly and create a nice atmosphere.
