The worst workers I have ever seen in my life, it is incredible how bad they see and yell at customers and they don't care that they are of legal age

The current management has ruined the outlet store in Dayton simply because they find as many good donations as they can to put on their shop Goodwill website and leave mostly junk for customers who shop at the physical store. At one time the outlet store was an amazing place to shop but since corporate Goodwill has become so greedy they could care less about the customers who actually spend time and money shopping at the Dayton outlet store. They do however give special treatment to those who buy thousands of dollars worth of shoes and certain other merchandise who in turn resell it overseas. It really is an atrocity to watch a once thriving place to shop become what it is now. Besides that, they're always lacking in help and their machinery is always breaking down causing people to have to stand around and wait for hours for them to bring more merchandise out. The place is literally ran by the most incompetent people I've ever seen operating a business. Sad.

Nasty. Junk. Dirty. Wear gloves and sanitizer needed. Cheap. Price per pound if anything is left that is not covered up in a cart. Same people there every day.

I always enjoy stopping in here when I come visit family in town. You never know what you may find. Be prepared to dig.

Just popped in briefly. A Goodwill Outlet in Indianapolis was my introduction to this style of store, and I have to say, I think that the one in Indy is better. This one seemed smaller, darker, and more chaotic. Instead of having people hang around the edges and bins filling in the middle, a lot of people had carts with their hordes covered with towels/blankets/etc. right in the middle of the store. They also don't seem to announce bin changes or ask people to stay out of the way during the process like they do in Indy. The checkout line also spanned nearly the entire length of the store. Luckily the person I came in with didn't feel like digging through the bins, so they hopped in line and I poked around until they were close to the registers. I ended up walking out with a few 78 records that somehow weren't shattered, a camera bag, and a couple camera flashes. The variety of the bins was decent , but not amazing. I also wasn't there to see fresh bins come out, so they were probably better than what I was there to pick through. If I went back (which is a strong possibility) and discovered that the super long line was an anomaly, my rating would probably go up. Right now I'd call my experience a 3.5, rounded down to 3 because a few bins smelled worse than you'd hope.

Always interesting finds searching through the bins. You never know what kind of unique, antique or useful items you'll discover. Be prepared to spend hours here it's the best method for stress release!

I was at the Dayton outlet in 2022. Had soooo much fun finding treasures. My sister and i wwnt back in Sept, 2023, i was soooo disappointed. Nothing but junk and DIRTY junk at that. Neither of us found 1 thing we would want. Sad that we drove 2 hours for nothing!!

this place is crazy, and the people are savage to find stuff. must have gloves, but if you don't mind digging, waiting and spending at least 4 hours, there are vintage & newer goods to be found. i think this place is awesome

It's a great way to shop for a big family. Yes you have to search through bins and look at sizes, but you really do find really cute clothing.

I am an experienced thrifter and have been buying second, third and fourth hand my entire life.Yesterday I visited this GW bins outlet and was pleasantly surprised by the name brand shoes and clothing I found. When I went to check out, I saw a singular random shoe in my bag. I said "is that just one shoe?" The cashier replied yes. I said "can we take it off? I didn't realize it was in my cart." The man just made a grimace face and I was confused as if this was a penalty or what? If thecustomer was the one to put each item up, I'd expect them to remove it. But they unload your cart. And you only see your items once they're done scanning. All in all, I paid for 2 singular shoes and couldn't get him to NOT ring them up. Lol

I've only been here 2 times and both times me AND my children experienced extream rudeness from the EMPLOYEES. The first time we went, an employee told me that I needed to quite my son down because he's being too loud. (He is autistic so he tends to make random noises sometimes) but he wasn't screaming or throwing a fit he was actually being very good. I let that slide and decided to try again today. As we were checking out i was getting my daughter out of the cart, while I was doing that, my son leaned up against the railing and lifted his feet off the ground. The cashier rudely told him not to do that before telling me "if your kids can't listen then you need to leave". I was so stunned by her rudeness towards an autistic 6 year old and myself that I couldn't say anything. I hate saying that we wont be back because we love seeing what we can find there.but I will not let myself or my kids be treated they way they treat their customers again.

I've been to several Goodwill Outlet locations. This location has been the worst by far. The way they rotate the bins is a ridiculous process. They don't announce bin changes. This location needs to take notes from other locations. Although the Indianapolis, IN bins aren't the best They are way way way better than this location. It wasn't worth my time at all.
