While the staff was friendly, this hospital is not equipped to handle pediatric emergencies. Our son was brought to the hospital with a suspected injury. Three doctors looked at him and said he looked fine. We were advised to monitor him and give Tylenol and follow up with our normal pediatrician. The next day we found out he had a fractured foot by our normal pediatrician. To all the parents out there, please seek medical attention from a pediatrician or a hospital with a pediatric unit in case of pediatric emergencies.

Miami Valley North is the worst hospital. My sister has Down syndrome and was admitted via the ER where she arrived before 10 am. She was taken to a room around 3pm and had not eaten all day. She ordered a hamburger when we got to the room which did not arrive until 5:40pm. In between I stood in the hall looking for someone to ask for 15 minutes and there was literally no one. The nurse told me they would check on her every hour, that did not happen. I pressed the call button so that someone could help my sister to the bathroom and no one came. After 25 minutes I stood in the hall and still no one came until I flagged down the transport person. In the meantime my sister wet the bed. I waited around until 8:45pm to meet the night shift nurse, but she never came. I went into the hall to find someone and there was no one in sight. Also, since no one came to check in it also meant no one took vitals between arriving at the room and at least 8:45pm. My father is currently at UC West Chester and has been there since Tuesday, the care there has been fantastic. I'm comparing in real time and this experience is beyond awful.

I've had multiple trips to MVN over the past few months to see several offices housed here, both for myself and for residents in the assisted living facility where I work. Each time I've visited I've found this to be a very clean facility, with plenty of masks and sanitizer available in this Covid Era. As you enter the main doors you see the help desk, where a friendly person is always waiting to give directions if needed. The building also has clear signage, which is nice. Parking out front is ample, once you realize there's a second lot up the slight hill. Overall, If recommend this facility to anyone, as I've been very happy with my visits here.

This was once a great Hospital. They once boasted being the Region's leader. They absolutely cannot say that anymore and it's a great shame. They have trouble keeping staff it seems dirty. The parking situation is confusing there's a couple of parking garages so if you don't realize which one you parked in your really lost. Not in the best neighborhood either. They are Level 1 trauma. The cafeteria is very overpriced and not good

Absolutely awful care of my father. I was shocked and always thought highly of hospital until this experience. My father was in the same gown for 6 days, got the wrong food daily, sent home by ambulance with no meds or instruction. just terribl.

I worked here as a traveler. This is a top-notch facility. Patient care is a priority, the equipment is state of the art, and we had the resources we needed. I encountered skilled surgeons and the staff were helpful, and worked as a team. I would definitely return, which says volumes.

A friendly professional hospital that has been growing in medical services. Two years ago I made a visit to the ER for back pain. Had excellent care for a non-emergency situation. (Wife and daughter were concerned when I was walking the dogs and I was having lower back pain and walking funny). X-ray showed some patches of authritis.

My dad has been told he has Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and our world has changed,as do all Cancer patients. So far, this hospital has been a complete disappointment. They are understaffed, overbooked, and DIRTY. I would think a hospital would prioritize cleanliness. The doctors have been rude, short, and unexplanarory at a time my father needs guidance, comfort, and knowledge. There is no accountability on these doctors. The nurses do all of the work, and they are grumpy and overworked. This facility looked like it was old, and it's not. I get better greetings at WALMART. This health industry is out of control, and they dont care to save lives , they just roll people thru like cattle. The chemo area is just demoralizing, people SHOULD HAVE PRIVACY AT A TIME LIKE THIS. Monitors were beeping and being ignored, the doctor took over an hour to come into the room, because she took a meeting with a salesperson at a time my dad was scheduled..UNACCEPTABLE..there is lack of communication in all departments, and there is no urgency expressed at all in a situation that is life threatening. I am beyond sorry for anyone in this situation, because there rnt many choices, I think they know it, and take advantage of it. It's not right.

After being admitted to this facility and during a transfer to Miami Valley Hospital's main facility in Dayton, my 100-year-old mother's personal belongings and clothing were lost. Neither the North facility nor the downtown facility would offer any response other than a cursory apology. It's unfortunate that during a medical emergency, an elderly patient would be subjected to a careless and thoughtless experience at a time when she was least able to speak for and look after herself.

I have been going here for physical therapy and it has helped much. The place looks good. I park at the lakeside parking lot and the lot is large. Construction is going on below the parking area but has not interfered with any care I have received. Where I go they have the cardio therapy separated from the general therapy. I see many younger people getting treatment to sports injury's and they are improving well, I believe its to the care of the staff that speeds it along. The treatment they have done to me is improving much. The layout of the PT area is large so you don't feel crushed while going over your PT. The locker room is very nice. I will go back to this place as the Physical Therapy team is really good.
