Logan is great to work with. He pushes me to try exercises I’ve been intimidated by and go beyond the limits I set for myself. Highly recommend him. We’ve also been working on knee exercises that have gotten me back to running after a knee injury and my knees feel better than they have in the past several years. If you have knee issues, go see Logan.

I love this gym! It doesn’t matter where your skill level is, this gym has a place for you.I started at Altered in March 2023 and have completely fallen in love with fitness thanks to this gym and the coaches. I was completely new to weightlifting and had zero experience in a gym. I was intimidated to start my fitness journey and had no idea how to start, but Altered made it so easy and obtainable. They create the workouts and they teach you all of the movements. The coaches have taught me so much and the community of members they’ve created are so kind and welcoming!This is truly a judgement free gym, with nothing but support and encouragement! I have built so much confidence here, as well as improving my health and strength.

The coaches at Altered Gym seem very nice and supportive. I am a larger guy that has struggled to lose weight in other programs, but that has not been the case here. Logan, one of the trainers, is very knowledgeable and put together a program that has not only taken away my back and hip pain, but also helped me lose 40 pounds and keep it off! He is friendly and encouraging so I don't feel judged. I highly recommend Altered Gym to anyone considering joining a gym community.

Personal training with Logan has been a great experience! He accommodates workouts to your style and makes them personal to you, something I didn’t find at big box gyms. Didn’t have a lot of experience with strength training and he really takes the time to make sure I’m learning how to perform exercises correctly.

Great experience working with Logan! I had bad knee pain and the exercises he has me do has eliminated my knee pain! I highly recommend seeing him! Reasonable rates for a personal trainer and Logan is always willing to be flexible with my schedule.

The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and the programming is well rounded - the atmosphere is great too! I began having back pain with many of the movements, but with the help of the amazing coaches, individualized programming, and the class support, I feel stronger and am out of back pain!

Altered got me into using barbells, which I never thought I would do! Initially I was nervous about the injury potential, but the coaches are wildly competent and I felt like I had enough adult supervision to give it a go. They’re great at teaching new movements, keeping your form in check, and making sure you aren’t pushing yourself into dangerous territory. They are also great about providing modifications to exercises if needed - they worked around some wrist mobility issues of mine without skipping a beat.I started classes out of shape and was worried that I would feel judged for having to use light weights, but no one cared at all! The classes themselves have a lot of variation in programming which keeps things interesting, and it feels very purposeful. There are two class structures to choose from every day - a cardio/strength class that changes daily, and a strength class that’s part of a bigger ~monthly arc which really highlights your progress. The classes are challenging, but it isn’t over-the-top “do 5000 burpees until someone throws up” nonsense. Six months in I feel soooo much better than when I started.Final comment I want to make is that I love the community at the gym. The coaches make an effort to get to know you, the members are really friendly, and there’s even a book club that meets every month!In summary – love love love this gym, you should totally give it a try.

Great gym with lots of offerings and variation in programming each class. Coaches are great. No pressure and they ensure you are safe.

Coaches are awesome, programming is fantastic. They provide well rounded workouts that aren’t boring or time consuming, and are very accommodating for different abilities. I didn’t have any experience in strength training and stuck only with running/cardio before joining two years ago, but now I’m a strong believer in having a solid gym routine too! It’s made such a difference in my health and body, and I feel so much more confident and capable. The coaches really make it a welcoming a supportive place, and are very knowledgeable - by far the best gym experience I’ve had!

Still relatively new to the gym, but I am hooked! The coaches are very helpful and knowledgeable and they genuinely want to see you progress and succeed in your fitness journey. They have become part of my extended family.

Altered Gym offers both classes and private personal training. I’ve used both. I like the classes because we follow a specific program, so I don’t have to guess and come up with my own routine like when I used to go to Big Fitness. I also like the class format because it keeps me motivated and having others around makes me push myself more than if I was trying to work out on my own. If you want a small supportive class structure, workouts designed to be powerful and efficient, and knowledgeable coaches I highly recommend Altered Gym.

I can’t speak highly enough about Altered Gym, the coaches and the community they have created. Since joining 9 months ago I have lost 57lbs (so far). The knowledge, strength and confidence I have gained is immeasurable. 5 stars aren’t enough. The one on one training, nutrition guidance and group classes have help me smash my goals and given me tools to live a healthier life.

I love going to altered gym. The programming is awesome. When I was doing CrossFit type workouts with certain movements that would always leave me with pain everyday. Such as muscle ups, handstand push-ups, snatches, so on and so on. I feel less aches and pains and more gains. We still do those type of movements. Just not all the time. I don’t compete anymore. Nor do I want to. If I do it will be with a team and for the memories. If you want to be fit and be around like minded individuals of all ages. And I mean of ALL ages! It’s not just a young persons gym! Then Altered Gym is a gym you should come out and see!

I have participated in almost every kind of group exercise known to middle-aged women. None helped me build strength like Altered has. Every class is like a group personal training session. You always know the coaches are there to correct your form, guide you with alternative movements, and count if you try to cheat yourself. They also help with all aspects of healthy living, to include nutrition and community events. This is the place that will make you feel like a part of the Altered community from day one.
