So I stayed there from December 8th thru the 9th and I want to give a huge shout out to the front desk associate who helped me that night. She greeted me with a smile, she was very helpful and informative regarding my stay. She even was patient with me as I had to insure my card had just the right amount on it to get me checked in. So thank you to the lovely and talented front desk associate. Makes me happy to be apart of Marriott.

Service from the front line employees was exemplary, the maintenance group, not so much. My TV wasn't working the first night, maintenance was gone so they had them come the second day, I got to the room, and found that they fixed one problem and yet there was another with the TV. This replayed itself for 3 days until it was fixed. The front line employees were great and helpful, offered me a new room multiple times.

It is a nice hotel, but the rooms seem quite a bit smaller than what i'm used to in a Fairfield Inn. Otherwise it was fine.

This Hotel was fantastic. It is both EV and Pet friendly. The rooms were clean, the staff genuinely kind and pleasant. The rates were great and the breakfast was excellent. Just a fabulous experience overall. A well run and staffed hotel. Kudos to management and Marriott.

Perfect location which met all my needs. Kudos to the manager on duty who checked me in Friday, very gracious attitude and offered information on the area that helped me with my dinner choices, and shopping needs. Saturday and Sunday the employees helped with great attitudes and willingness to help with my request. Thank you for everything!Nearby activities: Shopping and dining options

The front desk was very nice and helpful. The carpet in the room had stains. I went to make a coffee in the morning, and the coffee maker still had the coffee pouch in it from the previous guests.

Overall our stay was nice. The hotel is newer and very clean, breakfast wasn't bad. Where our trip took a turn was day we were supposed to leave. We were there for soccer and came back to the room to relax between games and to snack on some of the food we bought and left in our room. Even though we didn't check out, we came up to our room as it was already cleaned out and our food was thrown out. I went downstairs to talk to their assistant manager and they went through the trash to find what was thrown out to determine was sort of compensation I deserved and was told the "staff would be spoken too". We didn't get to eat our food and we didn't have a place to relax between the games. It was a super frustrating process, especially when the assistant GM handed me a $20 and shrugged her shoulders. Hotel is decent, however, my recommendation is to pack all of your belongings with you even if you aren't checking out because clearly they don't care for your things.

Quiet location, friendly staff. Only downside was that during my extended stay I always had to remind them to come by and refresh the room. Other than that, rooms are nice, gym had everything I needed and complimentary bfast was good.Rooms: Nice and modern look.Nearby activities: Tons of fast food near by if that’s your preference. Walmart next door was convenient as well.Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast was pretty good.

I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Dayton North and was generally mpressed with the modern hotel and comfortable rooms. The rooms were spacious, with extremely large bathrooms that had high-end finishes. The beds were great - perfect for resting after a long day of traveling. I also appreciated the large flat screen TV with plenty of cable channels and streaming options to choose from. The hotel has a decent fitness center and indoor swimming pool, which I made use of during my stay. It was great to have those amenities right on-site. Location-wise, it's situated near a lot of restaurants and shops, right in the heart of Dayton's hotel area, and near the highway, so it was very convenient. My only complaint was regarding the breakfast buffet. I wish there had been more hot food options, as the selection was fairly limited. But the pastries, cereal, yogurt and fruit were all fresh. Overall, Fairfield Inn & Suites Dayton North is a great choice if you want a comfortable, modern hotel room with nice amenities. The spacious, clean rooms and bathrooms make this a stand-out property. I'll likely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

The staff were great and very friendly. The hotel was new in appearance, well kept, and clean. Parking was good. The area was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was pretty good but the Sausages seemed a bit on the "medium rare" side for my liking, but this is consistent with other Fairfields I've stayed at. I missed breakfast the first morning because I thought they had told me it went until 10 AM, but it closed at 9 AM. Another guest showed up the next day just after 9AM confused because he thought it was 10 as well. Other than that I'd definity stay here again, and I recommend it to others.

If you do not need to stay in North Dayton, it is recommended you find another Marriott property- perhaps in Beavercreek. The only good part so far of my long stay- the initial check in. After that it has been a downhill experience. Despite asking repeatedly for my room to be cleaned, today is Day 5, and nobody has cleaned it. At this point if they could just provide me a vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies I would do it myself. Since nobody has cleaned, this means also no refresh of the complimentary coffee in the room- which is WAY better than the brown hot water they are serving at "breakfast." Speaking of which, you are better off eating at the IHOP on Miller Road or even find a McDs. The "eggs" are essentially reconstituted egg yolks. The oatmeal, when they actually put it out, is terrible. The Quaker microwaveable packet is much better. The front desk attendant in the middle of the day is sweet but not able to resolve issues. The area, off Miller Road, is a bit of a dump- especially with several homeless people migrating around the sidewalks. As a Platinum Elite member I have NEVER been more DISAPPOINTED in a Marriott property. The Franchise owner should be aware of the disaster that this hotel has become. Please, find another place to stay.
