It's an ok store to shop at if you want something in a hurry but I would not buy my family groceries here as prices are not in line with other store. They want almost $10 for a dozen eggs when other grocery retailers are $5-$6 per dozen.

Always well stocked, prices are competitive . Variety of goods is a little limited because store is small but they are well stocked, employees are pleasant, store is clean . Lines can be long but employees open registers to ease the wait usually. They do good job here abd serve their community well

I went to Drexel Food Town because it is late and it is the only grocery store open on this side of town after 8:00 PM. The store was reasonably clean and the prices were a little higher than you would see at the bigger stores. But what impressed me the most what's the music playing. I AM 60 years old and used to R&B and a little rap. I was not familiar with the rap artist that was playing over the speakers. The music was unprofessionally loud in the language was terrible I heard the MF word no less than three times. When I got up to the checkout, lane 4, I asked the patron in front of me where do they do that at. The cashier rudely said “here”. Then the cashier said, “when you go out to your car you can listen to music that you like to listen to.” Then I said, “wow and great customer service also.”I realized that this is the only grocery store that's open on the West side after 8:00 PM. I also realize that is the end of the day and someone may have had a bad day. But don't the residents of the West side deserve a little more respect and a little better customer service?
