This is absolutely terrible. They literally give nothing for items and then turn around and sell then for 4 or 5 times the amount. I understand they need fo make money but they prey on people that are in bad spots. Do not sell your stuff here!

Terrible and won’t step foot in here ever again!! We were just looking around found a nice tv for a really good price when we went to purchase it they started ringing up then realized they had promised it to someone else and told us they couldn’t sell it. They said we could find something else on the floor but they can’t sell us that one or give us a different one for the same price. If it’s not for sale either take it off the floor or put a sold sticker on it!

I took some gold scrap into the store. The guy tested 3 pieces and brought two of them back saying they were gold plated. I asked him if he was using g 14K acid and he said yes. I asked him did the pieces bubble green and he said yes. So I asked him to show me them bubbling green because i had not gotten a green bubbling reaction when I tested the pieces at home with my 14K acid. He brings over a white piece of paper on a clipboard and points to 2 of the 40 or 50 smudges on the paper and tells me that's where he tested the two piecs of gold In question. I asked him if he would test the actual pieces in front of me, so i could see the green bubbling reaction myself when he tested them using the 14K acid. Now using the acid right in front of my, all pieces tested good.
The guy offered me $5 per half gram of gold when the spot price of gold on this day was over $2350.00 per ounce. That's 15 times less than it's worth and 10 times less than what any other scrap gold buyer in the dayton area would pay me. It was the fourth of July, 2024. You would have thought I was being robbed at gunpoint right there in the store. The clerk,a tall Caucasian man with a beard and the short African American lady with an attitude, were very rude, matter of fact, and were lying to me about the weight and the value of my scrap gold. These people are crooks!! Beware ,and do not patronize this place or you run a very high risk of Fuukery!

Use them for pawns and decided to try them out with layaway ,sometimes things happen. And I was not able to make the next payment. Ask for them to give me until my next check to catch up ,nope bot happening blame it on computer of course ,i have used pawn ships for years never heard that ,and never heard of thenm keeping the full down payment,i would understand a restock fee but to keep it all totally wrong .so 90 bucks just gone ,out for the salary they get instead of helping a customer when needed.

They really need new staff in this place. Employees have to ask the manager if they want something. Seems like the manager is a prime example of power to the wrong people. They give you the lowest amount possible for your items and sell items that are non tested or not working. DVDs/Games are all over priced the CDs have scratches all over them so why sell them for 20$???? I brought in a brand new ps5 and was offered 100$ it came with 2 controllers 10 games and a headset they woulda took that and flipped it for $400-$500 the manager here needs to end the employment of the power ridden manager here. Stop bringing them your business then they will be forced to close

If I could give 0 stars I would . These “employees” look like they were just playing around outside. Didn’t greet us , just stared at us and made rude comments, very unprofessional and unwelcoming felt uncomfortable. Need better employees that actually work there and not play outside like children

A very bad place to do business, it's gotten worse then any old school pawnshop that you can think of, I've literally seen them tell this struggling woman they could only give her $80 for her Nintendo and all the accessories because"they could only sell it for $95 to 100", straight up lied, that Nintendo is on sell for $149, the game she brought with it is being sold for 35, and there's no mistaking the system for another because they still have the custom knockoff controller she brought with it, still with it along with the other three controllers the woman brought.. Then today a woman brought a Amazon fire tablet in and the said they can only give her 10 for it, I pulled her aside and asked her, "they only gave you 10 for that", she looked up with tears and said," yea they said they would only be able to sell it for 20, then she said they're probably lying to me again because I see my kids Nintendo that I sold to them on sell for a lot more then what they told me, then she told me the story I've just shared with you.. Avoid this place at all costs.. They will scam you..

We had an major snow storm on the 4th of feb 22 on an payday for me which they was close so I couldn’t retrieve my Apple Watch so I was going through my Apple fitness an discover on the day before the snow storm my watch was being used?…which mean somebody else’s skin was touching my band, my watch, this is by far disgusting not only it’s corona but it’s unsanitary corporate will be called in the A.M

I bought a JBL speaker there the other day, took it home to charge it, noticed there was a problem charging, when I connected to it via Bluetooth I noticed right away that only the center speaker was working and the two woofers were not working so I went back to Cashland right away with receipt in hand and they wouldn't return it or anything! No store credit, NOTHING! I AM FURIOUS! They clearly never tested it and sold me a piece of junk! I HIGHLY discourage doing any business with such a disgraceful business! Shame on you Cashland!
