What an absolute gem of a museum in Dayton! Seriously, this place is one of the coolest car museums I've visited and totally worth the visit. They are located within an old Packard show room and have a wonderful collection of everything from pre-WW2's right up til the the end of Packard with some cool different cars thrown in for fun, such as a Dalorian. I can't recommend the Packard Museum enough! What a great museum in the heart of Dayton.

September 9, 2023 - lots of parking, friendly/knowledgeable staff, great air conditioning, and a great collection of cars and memorabilia! What a screaming bargain for $10 per person and only $5 if over 65. Lots of history and plenty of signage, explaining everything in the large collection. Definitely worth your time.

Beautiful collection of vintage Packard autos, all inside of an original Packard dealership. Very representative collection, showcasing cars from a period when their design was high art as much as anything else. Particular highlights are Al Capones personal car, as well as the hearse used in the funeral scene of The Godfather. Made for a nice two hour stop on a guys day out.

Small but excellent ! spend an hour and immerse yourself in the history of a historic brand from yesteryear. The site is spectacular an old dealership with the offices intact. The details are outstanding. The car collection is perfect for the location snd size and the displays are spot on. I highly recommend you take an hour or two and increase your knowledge of the Packard Brand.

The Packard Museum is a great place for a small afternoon outing with family. It hosts a modest but fascinating collection of classic American cars and some other odds and ends related to the history of the local Dayton area and other companies like NCR. As of July 2023, the price of entrance is just $10 per adult and $5 per senior.

Excellent place to take a kid who's not too young. Don't touch the cars of course. The man working there was very knowledgeable and personable.Quite an impressive place. They said all but one are in running shape! They have legal plates even. We were delighted to see a DeLorean as well; my 12 y/o son especially. This museum is a Dayton gem. How lucky we were to find out about it! I'll definitely be taking some friends.

Definitely look this place up. World's largest collection of Packard's in one place in the work I think they said. Examples of the company's cars, trucks, aero engines etc. They have faithfully maintained the building as it would have been years ago, so you can experience the sales room where you would have filled out your paperwork, the waiting room whilst your vehicle was being serviced and other period facilities. These cars are beatiful, and are immaculately preserved. The volunteers here are very helpful and enthusiastic, take advantage of their knowledge to get the most out of your visit.

Great place to visit, even if you're not a car-buff. Friendly, informative and you dont have to stay 5 ft from the displays as is the case for many museums. They rotate thier displays, so I'll be back to see what else they have available for our viewing pleasure.

I'm glad I visited this amazing place. It is bigger than it seems. The Packard cars collection is impressive, the cars are extremely beautiful.I lived in Michigan for 8 years and I've seen different types of classic cars but let me tell you, nothing compares to this.I loved the description card of each car has the main events that occurred in that year. That helped me to imagine the whole scenario. The kid's area is marvelous, it has color sheets, crayons, blocks, and car toys.Free street parking.Kids freeAdults $10 USD. And worth it!!Highly recommended ?

Got to see some fantastic cars. And Keith did a fantastic job of showing us around the museum and giving us background on some of the stuff in there. We're going to return with friends and family when we can.Returned yesterday with some friends. They were blown away with the amount of cars and the pristine condition. We spent several hours going through the museum. We'll be bringing other guests to visit.

After several years of overlooking it, I finally visited this unexpectedly awesome museum! Its impressively curated collection of Packard automobiles were really great to view and read about, and the fact that it's self-guided gives you ample time to educate yourself on the Packard heritage/history at your own pace. Even more surprising was that some of the automobiles are owned by local residents!Admission:- $10.00/adult- $8.00/seniors 65+- $7.00/ages 7-12
