Amazing auto history museum focused on the Packard automobile. Wonderful displays and very well laid out. Any car buff can spend a whole day here, especially if that car buff finds the extensive library on site. And for the non auto buff, if you just love history like me you'll still be here at least several hours. Eeyore was brought back to a time in history he loves. 5 tail spins all day long.

This has the ability to be really great but I wish they had more info on the cars. It us a great collection of cars. Some of them look like they might be on loan to the musuem which is fine too & the back look like it was at one time a office for a car dealer kind of cool to see. They only have street parking & their might be a garage a little down. Unsure if that's a public garage or private though

I went to visit the Air Force museum and found out about the Packard museum. It isn't that far from the Air Force museum. The Packard museum is a wonderful place with Packards from the late 1800's through 1953. The atmosphere is wonderful. The cost to get in I think is $20.00 but as a Vet I think I paid $10.00. it is well worth the admission .

Visiting Dayton’s “America’s Packard Museum” was an unforgettable experience! The museum houses an incredible collection of cars, offering a deep dive into the remarkable history of a company that’s truly woven into the fabric of American heritage. The building itself is a sight to behold, elegantly preserving the essence of a bygone era, and it’s filled with fascinating memorabilia that bring the stories of these iconic vehicles to life. What made the visit even more special was the staff—everyone was incredibly friendly and possessed a wealth of knowledge, eager to share the rich history and intricate details of the Packard legacy. Highly recommend for anyone interested in automotive history or looking to experience a unique piece of America’s industrial past.

What an absolute gem of a museum in Dayton! Seriously, this place is one of the coolest car museums I've visited and totally worth the visit. They are located within an old Packard show room and have a wonderful collection of everything from pre-WW2's right up til the the end of Packard with some cool different cars thrown in for fun, such as a Dalorian. I can't recommend the Packard Museum enough! What a great museum in the heart of Dayton.

Neal, our ticket seller/tour guide, made the experience. My husband and I loved the description card of each car. They included main events that occurred in that year. That helped me to imagine the whole scenario, and then Neal would add even more info e.g.how many of these cars were left, how the cars actually all run and get out of the shop and onto the road at least once a year. We didn’t touch but loved how close we could get to cars. Neal also shared there was an event space and I feel you can tolerate just about anyone - family members, friends and co-workers- while viewing these beautiful, amazing, hood-ornamented cars.?

Great place with lots of awesome cars!
I have also been to the National Packard Auto museum in Warren Oh and I think I prefer this museum in Dayton better.
I really like all the post WWII cars they have at this one.

I’ve made it my mission to expose this amazing place to folks who have never been. It’s a place of automotive reverence that takes no prisoners. I got hooked in a matter of minutes. Anyone who loves cars, art, engineering, history will be blown away. Make it your mission to attend this gem of a museum.
