I’m genuinely upset at this point. My fiancé called about leather steel-toe boots and some were placed aside by employees. We went in, tried them on, during try-on I even explained to the employee that they have to be steel toe and nothing else. We even talked about it for a minute! The boots fit and everything seemed to be alright.
It wasn’t until after we were told no returns and had already purchased them that we found out they are NOT steel toe, they are Alloy toe. My company specifically asked for steel toe. My fiancé called back and was told that they’re the same and no one is going to notice if I just wear them into work.
Which, I’m not going to be doing because that’s absurd. I’m not going to wear boots into work that are not acceptable. All anyone has to do is look at the label in the boot if they genuinely wanted to check or stick a magnet to them. My fiancé was even told that they only had steel toe in one brand, so it seemed almost intentional that these were sold to me since they didn’t have what I was looking for and they were only concerned with making a sale.
I wanted to shop somewhere local and small business and now I am stuck with boots that I can’t wear to work and I can’t even get my money back to actually get the boots that I NEED for work. I could understand if this was *my* mistake, but it wasn’t. It was communicated to TWO employees that I needed steel toe and at no point was I in a position to check the box considering I didn’t even have it in my hands until after purchase.

I personally like small businesses like the Shoe Horn . The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I always feel I am getting a personalized service that you don't receive in the larger stores. I also like knowing I am getting a quality product and my business is appreciated.

I have bought a number of shoes from Shoe horn. I have always had excellent service from them. Always treated well and they are knowledgeable about their shoes. Will always go there to get shoes that last and are good for my feet.

The Shoe Horn is a fantastic shoe store! They have a wide selection of dress, casual and athletic shoes along with orthopedic styles if that’s what you’re looking for. They have those hard to find sizes too. The staff was friendly and educated, especially the owner, Anthony. You are guaranteed a good fit and you’ll feel welcome here. My husband and I have purchased multiple pairs over the years and have never been disappointed. It’s our favorite shoe store and it will be yours too once you go. Get there! Your feet deserve The Shoe Horn.
