My preparer said it takes "Special skill" to file a tax return for a self employed person. All she did was enter some numbers into a computer. They charged me $336.00 for less than an hour of work. They deserve to be... I can't say here.

BEWARE pricing is outrageous!! What I could have done at home for FREE cost $350+. Just do your taxes at home if you’re doing a basic return. I had 1 W-2 and 2 dependents I claimed and received NO money back for somehow. I had to learn the hard way hopefully this helps somebody save their hard earned money. Lady who did my taxes was very shady and unhelpful. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Ive been using hr block for several years now and no issues until this past year where they made a huge mistake on my city returns. Luckily it was caught by a different office (local offices in Akron are all closed so had to go to another city to find in person help). Major inconvenience but more so makes me uneasy about using them moving forward and probably wont risk it.
