definitely deserves 0 stars. this bank needs new employees that are not racist. very unprofessional and rude to minorities. they did not let my boyfriend who is black despots it his check into his account because supposedly it came up as fraudulent. when it actually was not at all. they said they needed to hold it which is stupid they needed to give him his check tf back. his job has always gave him those checks so he went to go to a different 53rd branch where they accepted his check. this obviously had to do with his race. it’s disgusting you people are still like this to this day. do not go here very unprofessional & rude towards black and brown folk.

I honestly don't know why this place gets so many negative reviews. I've come here in-person many times, and the people have always been polite, courteous, and helpful. In fact, they really helped us set up an account at a time when my family really needed it during a particularly desperate moment. So I have nothing but good things to say about this location.

Very unpleasant people working there ..customer service is terrible. A smile or responding back to have a good day wouldn’t be so hard ya know.

5/3 as a whole is the worst bank my husband and I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. From the beginning, our mortgage broker cost us hundreds of dollars on our house deal by simply not providing correct forms, and could have cost us thousands more in court fees if the sellers had not been understanding. Since then we have done nothing but receive the run around and had fees applied to our loan through their own employee's incompetence. This particular branch has been less than helpful and quite frankly rude and condescending. My husband and I should not be spending our rare days off in a covid unsafe environment to perpetually correct the incompetence of the staff of this branch to then have it be implied their inability to successfully enter information into a computer and properly communicate how their own procedures work is our own fault and we are unable to pay our bills. As frontline healthcare working DOCTORS we were offended, not to mention how others currently struggling to pay their bills in this hard time may have felt. We will never be returning to this branch and can't wait until we no longer have to be associated with 5/3 again.

Extremely helpful when needing honest answers to tough questions! May not be what you want to hear but always helpful, in these trying times. A special shout out to Logan, Matt, and all the hard working tellers:):):)

A banker there 'fixed' a mortgage auto payment issue we had a few weeks ago. After getting a late fee notification, I went back to speak with the same banker. He did everything in his power to try to shift blame from himself to my wife and I, then implied that my check may not clear at the end of the conversation. We left frustrated, offended, and wishing to never do business there again.

Do yourself a favor and don't be a customer. They are argumentative and not helpful at all. Pain in the butt always an argument and never helpful. Logan offers horrible customer service save yourself the hassle if getting ripped off by your own bank.

A dreadful company. I closed my credit card and then it would not allow me to make a payment online. I called the company, and after typing in several identifiers I was bounced between three people before being cut off. Then when I called back I was bounced to two people until one told me that I cannot make a payment over the phone, but would have to go into a bank to make a payment.

If you're planning to bank with fifth third, turn away now. Horrible experience. Their overdraft fee is 70 bucks. They take money out, and don't give you a chance to put cash into your bank like normal banks. Planning to discontinue with this trash bank. I had a “bad check†and took them a week to tell me. So I had $200 worth of overdraft fee, can't even get my money back because they're stingy, and that's how they scam people. Go with PNC Bank.

On 7/7/2018 I had 7 fraudulent charges on my account. I called and talked to the fraud department. My card was shut down immediately and we reviewed all transactions for the past 4 days. All of the fraud was on that date. I was told that the card would be shut down and that they were going to send me out a replacement card. My address was confirmed. On 7/17/2018, I still had not gotten my replacement card. I called about it and was told that it was sent and that since it was 7/17...it was technically day 7 of the 5-7 day window...I should give it a couple of more days. I still did not have a card on 7/19 and had stuff that were on an autopay. So I called in again and was told that NO CARD WAS EVER SENT! I will admit that I lost it a bit to the point that I was hung up on because I was using "language that she would not tolerate". I called back after I calmed down and was told that for $30 they could expedite shipping of the card to me. I let him know that I should not be paying for being lied to on more than one occasion. He agreed and told me that I could go to the bank and get a pre-paid card from them for the bills that I needed to pay. I opted to just use my charge and will be opening an account at another bank. I will make sure that my paycheck only sends enough to cover the mortgage that I also have with 5/3 bank.

Horrible home buying experience. Delay after delay from the bank. Avoid Mortgage Loan Servicer Robert Dawson!
