After going there for years I call to make a appointment before scheduled cleaning and the lady was so rude over the telling me they no longer will see me because they don’t except the insurance anymore. No communication at all.

Never have I ever experienced such horrible communication with a medical office ever! Called in to see when my appointment was and the rude receptionist informed me that my appointment was a few days ago and that I'm not allowed to be seen at their Cuyahoga Falls location because I failed to show up for my appointment. Any appointment I have ever made elsewhere gives pre-calls! Unacceptable Marino!!

I high recommend this place as I’ve always had great experiences , everyone is friendly and welcoming . I had a filling today and Brittany told me everything she was doing and asked if I was ok throughout the procedure . ?

Single mom of 6 kids (2 with autism) as any parent knows first hand , appointments are crazy scheduled. Sometimes we forget an appointment , it’s normal. But this place with a quickness are ready to drop you as a patient for one missed appointment. I was told today at my sons appointment we could no longer be seen due to a missed appointment from before (may 2022) which is crazy to me because they should have called or sent a letter stating so before going in. Complete waste of time

State Valley Dental provides an awesome Dental Health Care Team that provides kind, courteous, and helpful service. We love Denny! She makes sure that our teeth are always in tip-top shape. We feel very fortunate to have found State Valley Dental among the sea of dentists out there and could not imagine going anywhere else.

I would love to give Dr K, Chrissy, Latoya and Susie TEN stars for the treatment I received. They had a difficult job fixing my teeth and I can honestly say that I have never been treated better than I have by these four amazing people. My lucky day was finding these folks and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and special abilities.
Thanks from the bottom of my hear!!

Wonderful. I am so pleased with both of them- he did such a wonderful job restoring my whole mouth and smile. It was a very long process -3-4 yrs in which he did sinus lift, bones implants, then the implants and the teeth.
I cannot be happier. Dr Angela did my lips a few times... she is doing such a wonderful job with my lips and l can’t be happier.
Dr Marino is the best dentist my entire life and for 15 teeth - I think missing it wasn’t that expensive over time. Dr Angela is wonderful too. She does the lips - symmetry/ volume, everything- can’t compare to anything else. I love it!!! And thank you!

Best Dentist I have been to my entire life. Always call me the day before my appointment to remind me. Friendly and always professional assistants and office staff. Just everything pain free and makes sure you are comfortable. ☆☆☆☆ in my personal experiences!

Similar experience with staff at Dr Marino office.. It seems they look for high value clients only. Not helpful and basically uncaring.

On June 22, 2017 I visited the dental office to have a tooth filled. When I'd been at the office several weeks earlier (my very first visit to this office), for teeth cleaning and x-rays, it was pointed out to me that a previously filled tooth (done decades ago when I lived in Florida), in the rear upper right needed to be refilled. However, on June 22, initially, for some reason, the dentist at State Valley Dental (who, however friendly, never introduced himself or the woman assisting him) thought it was a tooth on the upper left side, until I informed him otherwise. Finally, after re-x-raying the right side, the dentist realized that that is where the tooth needed to be refilled. To say, the least, that was an unsettling moment. (Reminded me of those unfortunate situations when a surgeon removes the wrong leg on a cancer patient!!) In any event, the dentist, himself, proceeded to drill out the old filling. But, once done with that portion of the procedure, without saying a word to explain that his assistant was actually going to fill the tooth, he simply left the room. The assistant prepared the filling material, again without a word of explanation as to the fact that she was completing the procedure. She had a really difficult time trying to get what I assume was some kind of mold around the tooth to be filled, to the point where her hands were actually unsteady. Then she proceeded to fill the tooth...or should I say, overfill the tooth. She ended up having to make quite a few attempts to drill out the overflow (I could not even begin to put my upper and lower teeth together at that point.) Finally, after an inordinate amount of time (I've never even heard of it taking that long to simply fill a tooth), she completed the procedure. That evening I experienced considerable discomfort when any liquid or food (of any temperature) got near the newly filled tooth. And, when placing my tongue near the filled tooth, I could feel an opening/gap between it and the tooth in front of it. It felt almost like a chipped tooth. Since I was leaving on a flight out of state the next day, I was hoping that the sensitivity in that tooth would subside. It did not. As a result, I have experienced great discomfort when drinking or eating anything; in fact, I cannot eat on that side of my mouth at all without it hurting. I am returning to Ohio tomorrow, so I called the dental office to arrange an appointment for as soon after my return as possible. Inasmuch as this is a botched job that needs to be addressed right away, I assumed that I would be seen ASAP. How wrong I was! I was told that the absolutely earliest I could be seen is July 24!!! (Today is July 7.) I have already been in pain since the tooth was poorly filled on June 22 and now, despite the emergency nature of the situation, I am told I must wait several more weeks!!! This is totally unacceptable!

Billing person not sure what she is doing, I have done medical billing stuff in past. Had a prior auth since November had teeth pulled in January supposed to get impressions in March she said i wasn't approved I still don't have teeth. I did a state hearing with Medicaid, they said it is covered. People just don't follow through.

This woman doctor put a crown on an infected tooth! I was in pain and she wouldn’t even give me antibiotics! I ended up losing the tooth and the one next to it, because I ended up with a horrific periodontal infection. She didn’t respect me and ignored my suffering. Look out for a blonde Barbie doctor with a German name, who thinks she’s God!!
