They are very pushy and they don't have nothing outside to pick up poop. They tell you you need all of this but it's going to be A LOt of money. Would not go again

This is a wonderful, compassionate veterinary clinic that has provided great care to our pets for many years. It's not just the routine healthcare we appreciate, but it's the difficult issues where we've found comfort in knowing proper, loving care has been administered. Our dog, Jax, was been coming here for years for routine checkups and immunizations, but when it was discovered he had cancer in one of his dew claws, we were grateful that the cancer was skillfully removed with great care. Jax recovered fully. Then when Scout, one of our elderly cats, was so ill that he couldn't go on, the staff made him and us comfortable as we said goodbye to him. Their empathy and final care was so appreciated. And now, Steve, our Turkish Van of 13 years, has become ill and has been seen by both Dr. Ryan Gates and Dr. Eric Allie. I am so grateful to how kind, gentle and patient they were with him on both visits. Both vets were also patient with me, as I had so many questions for them, and they provided answers to everything. My wife and I deeply appreciate this clinic and staff for all they have done for our beloved pets.

You can tell the vets at this practice are very experienced and knowledgable which feels good, but they charge 3x the amount for anything you can get at any normal vet. After taking pets here compared to other vets it almost feels like a scam. They also have very bad communication and don't do reminder calls or anything. If you miss an appointment, too bad. Months will go by and no one will tell you anything. Edit: Every person out there faces hardships and struggles in there own way and sometimes people make mistakes. I believe that a doctors time is valuable but I also know its there job to be there and deal with situations as they arise. If your solution to a missing appointment is preferring they not come back rather than calling and reminding them to be helpful this might not be the practice for many people. So I guess take this review as it is. If you have a lot of money and want good care for your animal, by all means use this practice. They have good vets and you will get very good care. But if you cant afford the top quality care, go with a cheaper option because there are a ton of cheaper, loving practices out there who will do just as good of work for a lot less money.

I recently visited this location after extensive research online with mostly positive reviews. Let me save you your time. DO NOT take your pet to this establishment. Not only did the vet tech slam my car door so hard after taking my cat inside that my teeth/head hurt, but she also administered procedures I did not consent to. I paid for them after because a service was rendered that could not be undone, but I was never consulted with outside of her casually saying "we'll be providing all legally required vaccinations today" as she slammed my car door in my face and took my cat inside. I sat in my car debating busting in the doors and telling the staff I change my mind and want my child back, but decided to wait until the vet came to talk to me (also since I would be out 84 non refundable must be paid up front new patients $) and when the vet came out she glossed over my complaints telling me that Melissa for sure asked for my consent before rendering services to my pet. And walked away. I called and talked to two additional staff members to report what had happened as well as sent a follow up email to the establishment detailing my experience and asking for a call back. No. One. Cared. My cat who went in grumpy but silent was brought back to me howling. She never meows. Prior to this visit I didn't think she even knew how to meow truthfully. I have no idea how she was treated behind closed doors. Especially given the treatment I received as a patron. Drive a little further and find yourself a vet that actually cares about their clients. This one clearly doesn't.

Dr. Ryan and his staff are the best! They are quick, sympathetic and professional. I needed a new vet for my dog and I'm so happy I found them last year.

I’ve read the reviews and each one helped me decide on a thorough vet practice. My cat Bella and I were both treated as friends of Dr. Ryan and his team. We are happy, satisfied and healthy. Most of all, confident that good care for my best friend is nearby.

We took our puppy here for a spay surgery and were twice quoted the price of $370. When we arrived to pick her up, that price had jumped to $585. $130 of that was flea/tick meds to take home, which I was able to decline after questioning them about it. The other $80 was for heartworm meds that they injected her with without my permission, so would not do anything about it. I called to express my dissatisfaction and was told that it was on the spay authorization form that I signed, and so I should read what I’m signing and there was nothing they could do. It was never pointed out to me, I was only told that I was signing spay authorization and emergency care forms. Warning to future patients to be sure not to take their word for what you’re agreeing to.

Cannot say enough about the staff at CFV. The techs and the doctors are amazing. Dr. Ryan went above and beyond for our blue pitty who had serious, rare health conditions. Recently, Dr. Shelby has been handling the care of our brindle pitty mix and she has proven to be just as wonderful, personable, knowledgeable, and thorough as Dr. Ryan. One element that has always stood out to me is the fact that the doctors themselves call you personally with test results. They don’t rush through the conversation; they explain and allow endless questions until you understand. So grateful for their devotion to our pets.

I was able to get an appointment right away. The staff here are wonderful and the vet was very knowledgeable and informative. She spent a lot of time explaining things to me. I will be switching from another clinic as I can never get in when one of my animals are sick. They accommodated us here and I’m grateful. Thank you!

I love this vet! I moved here 2 years ago and called around to different vet clinics. Cuyahoga Falls Vet is the only one I would trust. reasonable prices, Fantastic people and the care they show my old crank cat, tumor prone dog, and accident prone rescue is better then any place I've gone to in years.
