Nothing but drafty slider windows. One window won't lock. Both have significant drafts where the two windows connect together. Garbage.

In the 8 years since we have purchased our home we have had 8+ Alside windows lose their seal and become encrusted with an opaque film that obscures vision and surely impairs temperature barrier properties. Our most recent blown window was reported in May 2023; three months later they attempted to install another cracked, defective window. We pointed this out to the employee who agreed the window was unsuitable for installation. 4 months later (8 months total!) we still do not have the window replaced via the warranty. There is no communication; calls and emails go unanswered.

Stay away from this place!!! We were patient with them not getting our door and windows installed when we were promised and it did not matter to them!!! Our patio door is less than 2.5 years old and the outside window shattered for absolutely NO REASON (unless you count poor manufacturing)! They do not honor replacement with their lousy warranty!! Do not…I repeat, do not buy your doors or windows from them!! You will thank me later!

I went through the lead abatement program of summit county. The contractor used Alside windows. Alside sold their business to Associated Materials. Well, it didn't take long to have window problems so I called about the warranty. I was told that I had to take the windows out of the house and take it to Associated Materials. It would take 4 months to process it. In other words, no warranty. No one wants to fix them windows. So you got a big problem.

No sense in repeating what is already being said. Less than 1 star. Buyers avoid any product association with Associated.

I had a job interview there for an office position. The outside was a mess. The inside worse. It smelled of mold. They did not even show me where I would be working. I was overdressed in casual business and the hr guy had WAVES of hostility coming from him. Needless to say I was so put out I said whatever I could to get it over with and didn't look back. Never even read the offer they sent me.

This company is awful. They produce defective products for Window World of Pittsburgh and then Window World installed these defective windows in my home. Associated Materials agreed that every single window that they installed in my home was defective. Their customer representative, Sergio, agreed that they installed a garbage product in my home. He took many pictures of all of the defects. Window World of Pittsburgh was at my home 3 different times installing different windows and a fourth time to correct the corners of every window. I would definitely stay away from this company. Associated Materials did not offer any compensation for their horrible products and all of my wasted time. Window World finally did offer minimal compensation after a while. I definitely would stay away from Associated Materials. They clearly don’t care about their customers and after reading all of their reviews, they clearly don’t offer a quality product either.

Your Wilmington Mass division is so poorly run its a wonder you still have any customers, they laugh at sending out wrong orders, leave the customers on hold and go to lunch, tell you that your order hasn't come in, yet has been there for weeks causing homeowners to cancel their jobs. You should be ashamed. Either fix the inept management or loose clients, bottom line.

Terrible vinyl siding product and related warranty. New home siding began showing significant color loss after 5 years. Now 8 years in, it just keeps getting worse. Their warranty appears to be designed to protect them and not the consumer. If you are looking for substandard vinyl siding with poor weatherability and color fastness, this is the place. Would also be acceptable if you like your siding chalky. I ended up trying Vinyl Renu, since after sending in a faded sample, they were no help. You can see in the image the amount of fade - not covered under their warranty.

I bought new windows for my home from Associated Materials. While the housekeepers were washing the windows, I noticed water leaking as the result of a problem with the seal. After several months of submitting information, which I believe was a stall tactic, they denied my claim. I have all the documentation including photos and videos of the window leaking water. The only function of the window is to seal the air and water while providing light to the house. It is clearly a defect and should be addressed. Meanwhile, my house has suffered damage as a result of a faulty product and warranty claim system designed to wear the buyer down while offering no service after the sale. I would have paid a technician to correct the problem and if they were such a crooked company, they would have worked with me to resolve the issue. I would expect more for such a large investment and the irony is that I am adding on and wanted more windows until I found out the company has no integrity. Do your homework, they have subsidiaries.

Worst company on the face of earth, customer service never answers and products are poor quality! Leak and full of dirt.
It’s a shame what some companies act after the sale is done. Run, Run, Run

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!Unfortunately we decided to order a couple of Alside replacement windows the beginning of October. We then had to pay additional to have them shipped to our house. When the windows arrived in late they were the wrong ones so I called their "customer no service" and was told the correct ones would be ordered. I'm called 6 or 7 times now to get updates but no one has ever been able to give me any specifics. One person said the order for the new windows had been placed. Several times I was told that the "supervisor" would either call or email me the following day with details. Not one time did this happen! Today I was told the windows had apparently been made but they were sent back (???) because no one showed up to pick them up!! How outrageous when no one ever called or emailed to say they had been made...if that's even true! I will contact BBB and Capital One to see if they can recoup the money we paid to this fraudulent and/or incompetent company.

I bought a house and multiple Alside windows were foggy/glazed from leaking argon (house was built in 2008). I tried to submit a claim on their "lifetime" warrantied windows but was denied due to not being original owner (second owner). Called to order new sashes but was given the run around and was eventually told to go to their website to order them only to find out I have to call them. Would not recommend to anyone.
