I rarely call people out on Yelp. But today I had the most unfriendly checker in the history of checkers. Look I get it. It's a ridiculous time and people are going insane. Perhaps humanity is to blame, but certainly not me personally. She didn't greet me at all and in fact she did not one time even look at me while ringing up my items. She couldn't have looked more disinterested in me and hated the fact that she had no choice than to deal with me at all. She handed me my receipt and with a cursory glance said "have a nice day" in the most insincere voice. At least the bagger said it like he meant it. So Sismani? Sismanu? Can't even remember but it was unique name, try a smile. Try pretending like you care about our business, at least a little bit

I almost did not try this store because the only review about it is very negative. I found the store to be very clean, stocked well, and staffed by friendly and helpful personnel. I have shopped at Market District for years in a nearby town because there was no other option. I tried Market District several times in Cuyahoga Falls and was very disappointed. I am glad to have found Acme.

This is the worst Acme in the Akron metro. The only good thing is that there is plenty of parking. First, it is pretty dirty inside. I could see dust on some shelves and stuff on the floor. Second, it is oddly organized. It will take a bit of time finding everything you need. Third, it is more crammed than a Walmart. Forth, the staff. Not friendly and not helpful. No one saying really anything at checkout and no one really around the store with even a half-smile. One on occasion I went to the store with an advertisement that a nearby Acme had a deal on a particular product. Not only would the store manager not honor it, she was extremely rude about it. I could have settled on the 'no' answer but felt bitter that the person clearly was bothered and upset by me asking. Honestly, go to a different Acme or another store. This one is worth avoiding.
