βFriends visiting from out of town had car trouble. They had to return that evening for a vital family need. After diagnosing the problem, Bear Claw was able to fit them in and get them home on time. This isn't always possible, but Bear Claw made it happen when they could! Highly recommended by several other people I know.β
βIf youβre looking for a local shop in the Oregon (Toledo) who does honest work I would recommend Sam and his crew.I came in with a odd ball service request, I had broken a few bolts off of a beadlock rim and they had no problem taking my wheel as a walk in service and having the broken studs removed, cleaned up and my wheel put back together in the same day. All while they had other vehicles they were working on throughout the day.They even offered to drop me back off at work if needed, thatβs just great customer service if you ask me.Big thanks to this shop for getting me out of a bind and back on the road. I will continue to recommend them and use them in the future. Thanks guysβ
βHighly recommend. We ran into a bit of an issue, with a mistake that was made by the mechanic when we took our vehicle in for alignment. We brought it to the attention of Bob, the owner, and he went way above and beyond to make everything right. Things happen, everyone makes mistakes. And when it happened here, they took care of it. βGreat Local business, pretty decent inventory with a wide variety of parts from old to new, went there to get a few bolts and a portion of wire harness for my Camaro, the guy and his wife we're super cool and didn't even charge me anything because I just had a few small things plus unlike the Toledo junkyards he doesn't charge you a ridiculous entry fee and there's no hidden fees or Garbag on your invoice.. truly one of the last few remaining good mom and pop local businesses definitely worth going to check these guys out before you make the trip to Toledo to get extorted for moey paying these big junk yardsβ
βBuckeye Auto Repair went above and beyond helping with a blown tire during a road trip. My family was passing through town and had a hole in our tire and Ramzi not only took the time to check it out but patch it up and get us back on the road within minutes. We ended up needing a new tire and luckily his quick work allowed us to get us where we needed to be safely. Super kind, helpful, and we greatly appreciate you taking care of us!β
βJust want to give a shout out to Jason and the folks at Bennyβs garage for getting me out of a jam! I was stranded with my F-250 and my 27ft travel trailer at Maumee Bay State Park and needed to get home to Michigan. Jason took my call, understood my transmission issue right away and got me up and running so I could safely get home. He even helped my fellow campers out with an issue on their trailer! βWent in to get speedometer cable replaced on my 79 trans Am. And got a call back from owner/manager I think, said it might not just be the cable. May the appointment looking forward to getting my car back to normal. And I knew they were busy so it'll be a couple weeks but at least I know it'll be done rightβ
βI highly recommend this business. I've always trusted them with my car repairs. Dave and Gary do not steer you wrong and you get a fair price. Plus the work is always spot on. I never have any problems. I just miss the shop because it was hit by the tornado June 15,2023. I hope they're open soon. It's a huge loss for many people that live in the area. We need good mechanics that are honest and take care of the car and the customer. I've had to go elsewhere for repairs and been robbed blind. For instance, Firestone had to have new brakes put on my 2010 Honda in the front I was charged over $500 but I needed brakes replaced to be able to stop the car. I will tell you beware of where you go if you're stuck going to some other place other than Gary's automotive. Because you're going to be hopefully told the truth but nine times out of 10. I found out the hard way. Do you think you pull up to a corporate owned operation and it's lotta times just simply a rip off. $500 for disc brake replacement for two wheels not good oh and then they gave me the opportunity to get their company MasterCard that would take $40 off my bill. When I read the fine print, I realize that they just simply jacked the bill up $40 so that I can get their credit card take the $40 off be stuck with her interest and they still we're not giving me any discount on my the brake job. So don't bother with FIRESTONE. If the brakes could've waited, I would've waited for Gary's automotive. So Gary and Dave I give 15 to 20 stars no problem they're good honest people that work at that shop and own it.β

βWas referred to AJ Towing by Steve's Auto Care which is a few miles away from AJ Towing and Auto Repair, as AJ Towing had the diagnostic tools to test my electric and cylinder systems. Steve's Auto Care did look at my car for about a half an hour- for free, but didn't have the right equipment to test the various systems thus Steve's referred me to AJ Towing. AJ Towing replaced my coil pack with a used one which I requested for just $30. Labor $50. They first called me to let me know what the problem was and if I wanted to come by to pick up my van to replace the coil myself, but I gave them the go ahead. At least from my experience they seemed genuinely honest and nice people. The shop is under a road, by railroad tracks surrounded by a lot of junked out cars and a fence, but don't let first impressions fool you.β
βRecently I put a new set of tires on my old Toyota Highlander, then brought it to TMZ for a front end alignment which was done nicely in a day Then drove up to the Mackinaw City Michigan. Very smooth ride in spite of mileage over 170 thousand. actual mpg 26. Itβs worth having a front end alignment on an old car and TMZ is the place to have it done for a very reasonable price.β

βI wanted to give a shout out to Shrader Tire, Toledo Fleet Services at 6006 Hagman Road. And The managerΒ Sam lance, And One of TheirΒ mechanics. C J. I Took my 99 Suburban In For a Brake Inspection.Making Noises. Sam(Manager) Put "C J" on the Job. he had to Replace the FrontΒ calipers and Pads.Β Β Rear Brake cylinders, and Found Two Bad Brake Lines. On Further Inspection They Found One Broken U-Bolt and The Other three were very worn and bad. Plus The lower Axle PlatesΒ were worn down. "C J" Replaced everything and then proceeded toΒ bleed the brake System. He Then Took The Suburban for a test Drive Before Returning Suburban to Me. 5 Star Service! Great Job!!.

βGreat place to go for your car repairs. Priced fairly and reasonably. Schedule ahead if possible, well worth it. Doesn't do AC or gas tank services though. But other vital repairs and maintenance welcomed.β
βA previous shop had my alignment all out of whack. When I got it back from them my steering wheel was crooked with the truck tires straight, I had a wheel rubbing my bumper and a awful pull to the right. Aaron got it all straightened out for me and all my issues disappeared. It was done quickly, and price was great!β
βThe best thing about this neighborhood store is their ability to get about anything automotive or farm tractor, or semi , overnight. Better than Amazon! Order it and its there first thing in the morning when they open.β

βBest tire shop that will get you in and out at the speed of light plus they have some excellent great deals and very friendly and easy going. Donβt go and seat at truck stops for 10 to 12 hours waiting for a flat to be fixed when shrader tires can do it at a fraction of the cost and at the speed of light.β
