I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t realize they closed at 9, that’s entirely my fault. But I was able to go in because the doors weren’t locked and it was 8:57, instead of being kind and explaining that it was their closing time, I got the rude remark that they were “ closing in two minutes” and that if I was getting something “I better hurry it up” as if I didn’t find what I had wanted they’d kick me out. Was just very unpleasant and I’m not happy. Wish I could leave a negative star rating.

Can not seem to ever get anyone to answer the phone. They have the prices marked up higher than advertised at checkout. Mean to elderly people! Covington Ohio location

I would like to let everyone know what a 5+ star review I would like to give PAT for going above and beyond her job title today!! She had no problem and happily sent out my return box for Spectrum plus doing her cashier duties. Please let DG Corporation know that this is the 2nd time she’s sent a FedEx package out while doing her other duties with a smile and kindness you don’t always receive at other DG’s in the area. Way to go Pat!!

I'm writing a review for the Covington OHIO DG store because I don't know how else to thank the kind compassionate worker (Pat) who was so nice and taped up my Fed Ex box and took the extra time to send my package today. She was busy checking people at the register, stocking shelves AND doing the shopping for the curb side pick up!! She and all DG employees need to be recognized for going above and beyond! Thank you Pat! I don't know your last name but I hope you know you made my day

The people that work at this Dollar general in particular always have attitude never a smiling face to welcome you they follow you around like you're stealing the whole time like they ain't got nothing better to do but their store is so unorganized and disgusting they should probably be focusing on that instead of harassing people who are doing nothing wrong.

Nice clean store love to make a quick stop picking up items on the way home from work. I highly recommend people to use these small stores as well as any mom and pop stores. Support the local community instead of large superstores that cater to china's best interest.
