I have never in my years of renting have experienced such negligence and issues with a realty company.!!!!If you got kids, pets, and anything you care about then please do not rent from these people!!!I'm making a SERIOUS announcement about a property from Golden Key Realty. If you are looking for a home, do NOT go to 422 N 12th St. Coshocton, Ohio.I rented this home in order to get my daughter away from lead from another home just to find out this PROPERTY HAS LEAD.The realty service is trying to rent it out without doing any lead removal and putting people in danger; even though, they in fact know about it.Not only that, amongst many other things, they were negligent, they ignored me for a whole month about my front door that has and still has a padlock on it for the FOUR MONTHS we lived there. We couldn't even use the basement because there was too many steps missing at the bottom. The basement is unfinished and unusable since we presume that's where all the lead was coming from.My water bill I asked for since January was stuck in an ACH with the original landlord in which I had mentioned to them with no response in that month time I was ignored, I just got it after we moved out where it's two months worth of a backed up water bill and I just got it a couple of weeks ago.The lead showed highly positive in the basement, the vents for the central gas heat, outside of the home on the siding of the house. We believe the ventilation is tarnished and possibly the water as well.I do not want these people willingly putting anymore people in danger. I have screenshots and evidence of everything, but I will post the lead test kit we usedThe health department said they don't do home visits; even though, my child was involved and she's the highest lead case in Ohio. Yet when we went through all of this the first time, they immediately came around because my daughter was involved.I have heard many other tenants who have been neglected by this realty service. Even the legal office says, and I quote, "they come through the courts often for neglect and unkempt properties."Even the owner of the house stated he thought he was being screwed over by these people.Once we informed them of the lead situation we discovered because my daughter lead went from 28 back up to 30 (40 is hospitalization which we informed her of all this before signing). She reassured us everything was redone but she was unknowledgeable of any lead.She told us she would work with us on a 30 day vacate notice for health and Safety Violations which we never received after we informed her of the high lead.When they tried to rent it out before any lead removal, no health officials came to my door, I told them that it was illegal and they're putting people in jeopardy. She informed me that they were aware of my "complaints" and said for me to stop complaining and get out so they could do something about it.I was just informed this realty was trying to show this house to someone for rent without updating anything of the property since we just completely moved out on the 30th of March. She is willingly putting people in jeopardy.I would never wish this struggle on any parent and even if you don't have kids, long exposure to lead is unsafe for pets and adults as well.Luckily, I have some lovely people keeping an eye out and informing people about this who are interested in the property. I will NOT allow someone to put other people's lives in jeopardy.
