Customer service is impossible. Bait and switch billing practices. I'll be changing providers soon.

If I could leave a negative star, I would. This company is a joke.Told them not to refill the tank and that we were done with propane. A month later, they came out and refilled the tank without our knowledge. We found out when they sent the bill to a relative in California when it was supposed to be sent to us in Ohio. Tried to charge for the refill plus late fees. We've called multiple times to resolve the issue, as well as cancel our service. Every time we've called, we kept getting the runaround. Every time they say the issue was fixed, the California relative would be sent another bill. We've even talked to the supervisor and they still never fixed the problem. They currently have the relative attached to the Ohio address and us attached to the California address. After many hours on the phone and with the supervisor, they finally canceled the service and picked up the tank. But now they are trying to bill us for the refill plus late fees, when they should be refunding us for the fuel that was left in the tank.Customer Service associates and supervisors are the most incompetent people I have ever experienced.I'm done giving them chances. I'm going to contact Ohio Department of Consumer Affairs as well as the BBB.

If you have to call these people you will be very disappointed. You talk to somebody that speaks very broken English and does not understand English very well. Over 2 hours on the phone telling them my problem and they kept wanting to schedule a delivery and I did not need a delivery and I communicated that with them. So disgusted with this

My father in law passed away February 28, 2023. We contacted the company to have his propane tank removed. We were informed we needed to provide you with a death certificate. You received the death certificate on March 16, 202e. We are still waiting for Hubert McKenney 's tank to be removed nearly a year later. Maybe legal action is in order.

Your price is a $1 more a gallon than other companies. But I’m stuck with you because it is your tank.

It was a very smooth and seamless delivery process. I like when things are uncomplicated and this definitely was a good experience.

The worst company to deal with! Been waiting for 5 months for them to pick up a tank and they keep charging me late fees when they actually owe me a refund for the gas in the tank

My experience over the last month has be BAAAAAD. Over 8 calls...including hung up on twice. Short of it...AmeriGas decided I need new tank...delivered to the same spot it had been for 20yrs..with 5 percent..but then regular delivery guy said can't deliver propone to that spot..too close to property line...and have been a ghost ever since. With cold weather this month...Im confident they are going to let me run out before the situation is fixed...Customer service is non existent.STAY CLEAR....Its Messed up..Amerigas...call me ..please... fix your mess..

I pre paid for propane, they filled my tank and proceeded to lock it because they thought no one was home. Someone was. Waited, called repeatedly to get the lock removed. Took 8 phone calls and an additional 5 days.Terrible customer service, they do not care about customers, just bottom line.

I did a phone interview with them. The recruiter called me back and made it sound like I was guaranteed the job throughout the week. I made attempts to contact the recruiter and Ken Smith. It took him a few days to get back with me and tell me the position Was filled Have to say, feel very disappointed, very poor communication. I lost out on other job opportunities. Waiting around for them and have to say. My experience was very dissatisfying.

This company will not respond to any phone calls or emails. The company uses my driveway as a turn around point for another delivery. I have never had or used AmeriGas and yet my driveway is destroyed. Called and emailed numerous times to ask them please to stop and no luck. Our cars bottom out all the time get stuck in winter. Now there cutting into the yard making deep ruts Every other company backs down the drive so they don't use people's driveways to turn around. I've clearly marked the address so there's no confusion n no luck there either. The trash company uses the main drive and back down it so they don't mess up people's personal driveways and have even paid to fix the holes or ruts they made. I myself have also had it fixed numerous times just to have it done over and over again. AmeriGas has never tried to help fix the problem only contribute to it.

Amerigas use to be good when I could actually deal with someone in the company down the road from me. Now I have to call a call center and Amerigas is double the price of the new company we changed to that doesn't even charge us a monthly tank rental fee or delivery fee. This company is such rip off now they even want to charge us a pick up fee of $114.00 to come get there tank we haven't used for almost 5 months.
