A relative of mine was shopping in the store yesterday. she waited in line for 30 min while the clerk shopped and helped a customer. my relative asked how much longer she was to wait to check out and the clerk told her she needed patience. my relative is 87 years old. could you not have checked her out first before helping the other customer?? to top it all off after she checked her out she told her next time have patience and then began mocking her as she left. what is wrong with this scenario??? my relative does not know how to use self checkout so that's not the answer. mocking an 87 year old woman is shameful. hope you had a good laugh.

My husband placed an order online today for pick up between 5 and 6. Unfortunately, the store was closed at 2, 3, and 5 pm, 3 days total this week. It was physically impossible for us to pick up our order. I counted at least 20 people in about 5 minutes pulling in and out of the parking lot, then turning around since you guys were closed. Why bother having posted hours if you're not going to adhere to it? I live down the street and this is the closest shopping for everyone in the area unless you go to Montrose. You guys are really shooting yourself in the foot.

I did not have a bad experience per se. i was however saddened to hear what i heard in store today. I'm currently in the store parking lot writing this review. I came in looking for Mountain Dew and hotwheels. Once i find the few things worth buying at the store I'm at the register checking out and the very pleasant young woman checking me out began to scan my items. She scanned the few hot wheels that i had and when she got to the Mountain Dew i asked if she could put the drinks in a second bag and she said of course. She then asked.. precious cargo? I replied, absolutely. Some of us never grow up. She responds with " i know exactly what you mean, our manager here is the same way " Naturally, being a collector of an item that can never be found due store managers keeping the good items or reselling them to the point that the regular people can never find them.. i got really curious so i said ...Oh yeah? She goes oh yeah, you know those special ones that come in the cases? He always goes through them before putting them up. He grabs them up. Sorry. I responded with, " people like your manager are the exact reason things in this hobby are the way they are " Frankly, I spend all of my free time looking for the things that i like to collect just like everyone else does and it's getting really old hearing about managers abusing their position for personal gain. I didn't know getting first pick was a perk of the job working for dollar general. Please reach out to me on this app and i will give you my phone number. It's 8:50pm on 5/24. At 5pm on 5/25 i will be drafting an email to Mattel explaining what your employee so generously shared with me. Despicable.
