November 2024 by I will Be okay
First let me say this location used to be awesome. However since covid, it has gone downhill. The prices went up and whatever the tags are of the day/week, you will hardly find any on the racks. I seen a couple employees take the clothes that had the tags of the week off the rack and into the back. Why even have discounts or percentage off then? Today was a horrible experience. 3 minor girls were roaming the store with wedding and prom dresses on,causing all kinds of noise and chaos. No parent/guardian was with them. I wanted to get a bracelet from the jewelry glass shelf, went to the front where the"boss" was and asked for help and he ignored me. They had 2 registers open and over 8 people in line to check out. I asked one of the cashiers for help and they went to ask the " boss" for help. I think the worker called him "Mr. Ryan". He had white hair and a white goatee. He said he would help me whenever he can and I waited almost 15 minutes and no help. I was already checking out when he finally finished. By then, the check out lines were much longer and he was standing around the jewelry just watching.
Visited again on July 22, 2023 and the tags that were on discount was blue, yellow and purple. Unfortunately I only came across one blue tag. Why have tag discounts if you are going to take them off the floor?
Visited again on October 5,2024 and everything was a lot of money. I couldn't find anything under 5 bucks. If I did, they were tore, stained or ripped. I bought a jacket for 8.99 and I didn't inspect the jacket. Unfortunately both pockets have holes in it and I won't be able to wear it. I found this friends show backpack purse and it is definitely not a thrift store price.

Eh not great, the selection sucked consistently, I’ve been 3 or 4 times in a row and didn’t find anything worth buying. Overpriced on non name brand items, couldn’t find anything with a sale tag!!

My wife and I visited VOF today. And for the second time unfortunately, it was another unpleasant experience. The cashier, Lily, was not only rude but also displayed discriminatory behavior towards us based on our religion. This is simply unacceptable in a place of business. We were hoping our first negative encounter was an isolated incident, but sadly, that wasn't the case. We hope the management takes this seriously and addresses such behavior to ensure no one else faces this kind of treatment.

Great store! I spent two hours and found so many gems ? everything was really organized by size and gender, the only thing that took a minute was waiting for a dressing room to try on the items (I went at 5 pm so it makes sense), but the ladies at the check out were very polite and efficient.
Like any other thrift store nowadays it has a few items that are “too expensive” for what they are, but I did find a lot of gym clothes, joggers, shoes and jackets in FANTASTIC condition at a really low price! Just the running shoes I got are 60 on Amazon and I paid 6 bucks :) and got plenty of other stuff for 52 total ?
I attached a picture of one of the sports bras I bought ?

Prices are steadily increasing. This plastic mirror is sold at dollar tree for $1.25, and it’s being sold here for $4.99. Last summer they had used jeans here for $35. All of the inventory they receive is free. The only redeeming thing about VoA is its reward program, but I’m sure they’ll ruin that too.

Prices have absolutely skyrocketed

This is symbolic of the problems with VOA & Goodwill these days. These Priority Mail envelopes are FREE at the Post Office. (It may even be illegal to sell them.) Prices are ridiculous and the stores are usually a mess.

I used to love this place. Now the selection is very sparse and the few things that might be good are the same price you can buy in better condition from consignment. What a bummer.

Used to love this voa but the prices have raised a ton and they close the dressing rooms before close now. I don't get off work until 7 and can't try any of the stuff before I buy it. If they changed the time to 7:45 or back to 8 I would change this review. Disappointing

I used to love this place. Its (now was) my go to donation location. They were a little on the pricey side compared to other locations, but nothing crazy. The crazy has begun. Prices are ridiculous. Items you can get brand new at the dollar store are priced double. I think they forgot they were a second hand store and all these items were donated

As an avid thrifter, I have tried out nearly all the thrift spots in the area and I barely EVER leave empty handed. They have a great jewelry selection as well as clothing (I have found some vintage tees, Levi's vintage jeans, and some cutie dresses and skirts.) Though their prices are high, I still think it's worth it to support VOA and not have to buy retail.
