I arrived at USPS on 11/06 at E Main at 17:40 and the door was open and there was only one person finishing his delivery, but the attendant said he could not help me because it was closed.(??) Put a warning on the door and on Google that the USPS of E Main does not close at 18h, but at 17h30. USPS service has been horrible for some time. Improve because the service is not cheap!

Came to this location 20 minutes before close and they closed the gates in my face. Some people have to work and can only make it at the time they can. Please respect your store hours.

Supposedly opens at 8 am. I was one of several in line outside the gate. We could hear staff arguing in background. No one came out to help us. We all left.

I had a Seinfeld level experience. The package, in question, had “attempted” delivery. Two people were home and the driver never knocked on the door. After finding the package note, with the rest of the mail they delivered, I called to get help. I wanted to either to pick it up or try for delivery again. I spoke to two separate people. It felt like both women were trying to bate me into an argument. I assume they treat people this way so they won’t have to help or do their jobs. While speaking to them I couldn’t read the numbers fast enough or slow enough. They would interrupt everything I tried to say. They told me multiple times the package wasn’t their (usps) responsibility. “Ma’am it doesn’t say this code on the form it’s not our problem” well it does and you didn’t ask and now you won’t let me speak to tell you it does. There was constant interruptions even trying to answer a question they had just asked. “Ma’am ma’am” as I was speaking. It could have been a one minute conversation but instead I was a punching bag for their obvious hatred for their job. I know being rude while trying to get assistance (especially with government employees) gets someone no where. I was respectful while trying to express my concerns. I really hope someone can actually read this or listen to how the two woman working yesterday speak to people. At the end of the conversation, once they actually let me communicate the information, that it was in fact their package, that they did need to open an investigation, that they actually spoke to me like I was a human being. Package showed up today after both Royal Mail and the shipper reached out. I understand that this is probably not an easy job but these two woman were obviously unhinged. Good luck to anyone else simply trying to get help. If you manage this branch I suggest you pretend to be someone trying to find a package and see how they handle it. To say that their behavior is a liability would be an understatement.

My husband mailed our Spectrum and Columbia Gas bill payments from here. They were both returned a week later as UNDELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED, UNABLE TO FORWARD. I had to pay $2 to pay the gas bill over the phone. Today I'm going to the Spectrum store to make the payment and see if they will waive the late fee. This is ridiculous. The addresses were clearly visible through the envelope window.

The decline of this post office and its staff is very concerning. The mail carrier dropped off junk mail but not my package, never even supplied a notice for pickup. The mail carrier intentionally slams the mailbox door even though we have asked her not to, it’s integrated into our wall. Consequently, dogs start barking. The carrier complains about dogs, but they are always indoors. Although, the sign posted on the door displayed a later closing time, staff at the counter have closed the post office early on Fridays. I guess like most federal employees, they do what they want.

Drove here because my post office on Broad didn’t have stamps. This location didnt take cash- the worker said “today.” It is Saturday morning. Why don’t you have a cash register? Not everyone has a debit card.

I'm getting really sick and tired of usps workers constantly delivering me damaged packages. What's the point of paying for shipping and handling if your gonna handle my packages with absolutely no regard to what's inside? The fact that you people find it acceptable to literally throw people's packages around like nothing is pathetic. How would you guys like to receive something you paid out of your own pocket for just to have to replace it right away because the people delivering it give zero care? No wonder a majority of the population hates usps.
