Just stayed at the University Plaza for 1 night. It happened to be 100+ degrees outside. Check in to find out the pool is "leaking" and was serviced and they have no idea when it'll be usable again. The rooms are very dated and uncomfortable. The desk chair had a huge tear in the arm, mattresses need replacement, and to have an old picture tube non HDTV anymore is pretty laughable. So that means this hotel hasn't been updated for 10 years. The water cycled from hot to cold and wouldn't hold a temp in the shower, the ice machine was broken, and the Air Conditioner couldn't keep up with the heat outside. Waking up sweaty in a room that has a/c shouldn't happen.Stay at the Red Roof in up the street if you can avoid this place.
