Poor customer service at this location with guys so lazy to even get out of seat to grab receipt from the printer.Poorly maintained trucks. I was given a truck with none working dashboard lights and rusty hinges that made it so hard to close and open.I rented a dolly and when i got there, it was not in the truck and when i asked about it, the guy just told me i didn't tell him I rented one when my order clearly stated i had.I wouldn't recommend this location and will not be going back.The truck also had ashes all over the cupholders and tobacco residue all over the floor.

I reserved a 20 ft truck days prior that was unavailable when I checked in to pick it up. The two gentleman who assisted me were great. I got a smaller truck that stalled on me multiple times. It even stalled on the employee when I returned it back to the location. I asked if I could get a courtesy truck for Friday or Saturday since I was inconvenienced and the original truck that I wanted to we not available. I was told to call the GM Friday morning which I did. I left a message with Mitzy and was told the GM would call me back. I have not heard from her it anyone else at the. Whitehall Ohio location.

the van i originally rented was overbooked so i was given different equipment, which is fine but frustrating. no dollies at this location even though i reserved one, i had to drive to a different location to get one and return it there (adding to the mileage i had to pay for). truck had low pressure error on dash for tire i was unable to clear, so i wasn’t able to confirm mileage on truck. i was then subsequently charged for 320 miles driven when i only drove 24. i tried calling same day to resolve and was put on hold for over ten minutes and forgotten about. this is a complete scam, the store said there isn’t much they can do- even though it’s clearly impossible for me to drive that distance within the two hours and 45 minutes it was in my possession. i’m still being charged for the incorrect amount due to THEIR ERROR. store manager said they would reach out to me regarding the matter but haven’t heard anything.update: called corporate customer service, who were very helpful. this is now resolved.

I did an online pick up at this location which I find is very good for me but, this time the store was not open yet and it delayed me. They did not open the doors until 7:25a and thay were suppose to open at 7a. Of course there were upset customers because, their schedule was based on them being open at 7a. I did finally get the keys to the van so I could do my inspection check and was on my way. Things could have beenm better though.

The team is awesome, however if you get the general manager lady - run. She dismissive and it will cause you a headache. Best to just get back in line and wait for another team member.

Told me I had a 3 hour window to pickup the truck. When I went to pick it up 1 hour after the reservation start time, they told me they canceled the reservation. Horrible. Don't go here.

We had a rental scheduled for five pm on Sunday. We arrived at 4:50 and found the doors locked. We knocked for several minutes and finally found an employee, who told us the locked the doors 10 minutes before closing, so they couldn't help us with the steps for using the web.For the next 20 minutes, while we struggled, multiple employees walked in and out of the store and not once did any of them ask if they could assist us.

Only reason for the two stars is because I was overcharged after confirming with two different people that I wouldn't be. I was a little late returning the truck, because I had to wait on the apartment manager to arrive for my walkthrough. I called and informed U-haul why I would be late, and the lady assured me I wouldn't be charged. When I dropped the truck off, I asked the man who checked me in, and he also assured me I wouldn't be charged, that in fact, it would be less than quoted because I didn't use the quoted miles.. When I received my invoice, I was charged $110 when it should've been no more than $50.. They charged me for an additional day, as well as, double the insurance I added... Needless to say, I called and requested my money back, because I was assured that I wouldn't be charged. I'll fight the charges if my money isn't returned...

Stop overbooking people this was my second location visiting that day , after making a reservation a week before the date I used Uhaul. Please do better this is not the first time .
