Columbus, OH airport location, absolutely some of the most unprofessional groups of people I’ve ever seen working there. Booked and confirmed via Expedia, only to be harassed by this lady and her two goons, asking me for paperwork and to jump through hoops that I’ve never seen from a rental company before. Never once offering any type of assistance or empathy, as if she got off to saying no. When another customer tried helping me out, he was met with this woman telling him to shut his mouth and that he knew nothing of the situation, then giving me attitude about the reason why I needed the rental. It was so blatantly bad that her manager began to hush her, only for her to persevere with her terrible attitude and ugly behavior. I finally just bolted 0/5 stars, I hope this entire branch shuts down as soon as possible.

I will never use Thrifty again. I was accused of smoking in my rental car and I'm a non-smoker. I did not receive any final receipts until I contacted Expedia. I returned the rental on a full tank. They sent a receipt stating it was only at 81%. I kept the rental for an extra day because I called last night to tell them I was stuck in a traffic jam and would not make it back by 11:45 PM. I anticipated on paying for an extra day, but I now have a receipt that is charging me for $571. I booked on Expedia for $257. I should of only paid $257 plus an extra day. None of these charges were disclosed prior to renting or even on return. This is my first time and probably my last time I will ever use Thrifty for a rental vehicle.

This place is shady as hell. I’ve never been tackled when returning my car by the Hawkeye Eagle rental lady that was on the hunt for rental car damage. Super intense - super shady would definitely use any other rental company over these guys holy hell. Anyone has to be better than this from my experience

We arrived in Vegas at 6pm due to a flight delay our original flight was scheduled at 4pm. We were traveling with a baby. We get to Thrifty to see people waiting around every where and to hear computers are down. I go up to ask for an update—-like is this gonna be a while?, do we have an estimate? Do you guys and gals know anything? I might as well asked a stranger on the street for an update. We had prepaid—-don’t recommend.Our kids had a car through enterprise and it took them 5 minutes from check in to be in their car—-not usAn hour later the computers finally come back on to get our car.

got a compact car no mention of it anywhere on site its a electric car..No waynow my 185.59 just went up to$331.95.ithink this has to be illegal.. it was only 4 days.watch out for greedy companiesI will do my homework next visit

Excellent and yuck service. Was in Columbus for a wedding October 14th. Originally booked a rental for a Compact gas car. When I and my wife arrived, we were helped by Ramla, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and committed to helping the customer get the best value for their booking. She told us that if we upgraded from our original booking to an electric car, the up charge would only be ten dollars, and we wouldn’t be required to recharge the car unless we went under 10%. Considering how much gas is right now, this was great deal and I appreciated Ramla bringing that to our attention. With employees like Ramla, I will no doubt be renting from thrifty in Columbus, should I travel back that way. Thanks!

I loved the price but was not charged my original quote. I didn't care for car. I will stick to my usual rental next time. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Worst rental experience ever!!!! Don't go here...you will regret it!!! Used AAA to rent a vehicle to take my father and mother in law to visit their grandson. Upon return I settled up with what I thought was the final bill with Thrifty. Three weeks later I discovered on my Discover Card I was charged another additional $100 plus for a weekend rental that I already paid $289 towards from Hertz? Reached out to Thrifty and they said they couldn't see anything on there end...it must be fraudulent. That was what was their initial response which they later changed their story. After spending literally hours on the phone on Saturday morning and being promised that the manager would call me back when he got in on Sunday...which by the way never happened. I called Sunday evening at 7pm to get an explanation and finally spoke with the manager- Mark. He told me "I cant explain it and we run into this problem because we can't see all the billing". He said he would look into and get back to me tomorrow with an email. He did.... I still didn't have an answer to my questions. After reading through the email I called him for clarification. He took my call, but cut me short- he left it for me to call another number to get a clearer explanation. Long story short they nickel and dimmed me putting a bad taste in my mouth. Once shame on you twice shame on me.....never again for me!!! My recommendation would be NEVER to use Thrifty. BTW this my first post for a review ever and I'm 55 years old.

Reservation at Boston Airport. Line was almost 2 hours long just to pick up the car. Absurd. There was only one person working to check customers in when there were over 100 renters in line. Will never rent from them again.

Well I should have known to hood to be true that the rental was a lot cheaper than most . Up front paid the 10 dollars for the insurance then they held a 300 dollar deposit which wasn’t stated until pick up. I Cleaned the car from any normal use to be considerate, granted the car wasn’t that clean when I picked up . Only to find that they held the 300 dollar deposit and was charged 400 for cleaning unbelievable. Like I said should have known with there rates being much lower than others that this would be the case never again.
