Today, I asked the office about the sudden $2/hour fee for the EV charging station. Their response was that the charges were set by ChargePoint, and they have no authority to change it. However, when I called ChargePoint, I was told that they never charge drivers directly and that all pricing is determined by the management. I don’t understand why the office gave such a poor excuse—do they also think the $2/hour rate is so outrageous that they can’t explain it further? You won’t find another slow EV charger in Columbus charging as much as $2/hour!

I don’t know whose ridiculous idea it was to start charging for EV charging stations, especially during winter when charging speed slows down by 50%! In the current temperature, it takes at least 13 hours to fully charge my car, and with your $2/hour rate, I have to pay at least $26 to fully charge it. And in winter, a full charge only gives me 160 miles of range. Do you know what that means? It means I’m paying at least double the cost of a gas-powered car! I have never seen any apartment charge for using EV charging stations! This is unreasonable!

The tour was incredible and I am excited to get my kids into a single and a 2 bedroom apartment for June 2025 hopefully. I loved seeing the Arlington and Bexley model apartments. It was so nice to actually see the layout of the apartments that my adult kids are interested in renting. The closets are huge and the apartments are super clean, bright, and cozy. The lobby and the clubhouse were decorated for Christmas which were absolutely beautiful. Our guide was very pleasant and informative. As a parent- I am thrilled to hear that the parking garage is secure, there is security staff until 4 in the morning, and that maintenance is onsite. The Gym and pool are in the same building which is so convenient. Overall, the tour was an incredible experience. I am glad we were referred by a friend who lives there.

The leasing office process my deposit extremely slow. It take more than 30days to get my deposit back. They send the files to the wrong place and if I didn’t call their operator management company I don’t even know how many more days I have to wait.

The early days of the property management were quite nice. But now, aside from frequent garbage blockages, there are also terrible and harsh policies. They can't wait to tow your car when you are away on a long trip, as a warning for violating their garage policy, even though you've already paid $150 per month for parking. They take advantage of the fact that most tenants are students, who are not well-versed in legal matters and don't have enough time to fight back against their harsh treatment! Additionally, the apartment layouts are terrible, and many designs result in a poor living experience!

New manager Austin is absolutely toxic and unhelpful. Noisy hallways that often have terrible trash odor, and unhelpful management. Maintenance is however responsive and courteous. Threatened to tow car once in the gated garage with only a sticker on window as notice because of stolen sticker stating expired registration, even though the tags were up to date...So inconvenience a tenet for thousands of dollars because they can't run a Google BMV search.

**Avoid This Apartment Complex!**
I highly recommend steering clear of this apartment complex. Despite not securing an apartment, they refused to refund the reservation fee, and I suspect there may be discriminatory practices at play.
I was advised by The City staff during my apartment search that there were many available units. They encouraged me to pay a reservation fee with the assurance that it would be refunded if I didn’t end up with an apartment. Unfortunately, I didn’t record this conversation, and I trusted their word. I made the payment in early June.
Since then, I’ve had no communication from them. After emailing twice with no response, I received a group email in late July informing us that none of us had been allocated an apartment. Interestingly, the majority of the recipients appeared to be Asian based on their surnames, though I apologize if this assumption is incorrect.
While some may think this could be due to reserving late, that doesn’t seem to be the case. From conversations with others, it appears that some people who reserved later received apartments, while those who paid early did not.
I went to the office to request a refund of my $250 reservation fee, but they flatly refused, claiming that they never issue refunds. When I mentioned their initial promise, they asked if I had any evidence or a voice recording. I requested to speak with a manager, but was told they weren’t available that day. I provided my contact information and was assured someone would follow up within three days, but nearly two months have passed with no response.
While I’m relieved I didn’t end up renting here, my experience indicates that this complex is unprofessional and unreliable. I’m certain I would have faced significant issues had I moved in.

It is a nice apartment on environment and price. However not recommended for people who just move out from campus. The waitlist was terrible, you will never know when to get a room, themself even don’t know how many room will be left. Better just find other place rather than wait for the list.

I was promised $300 off per month when I viewed the apartment, and I submitted my application materials the same day. However, they stalled my application process until July and then told me the discount was only available in June. They also refused to refund my application fee. Terrible service.

I applied for an apartment a few months ago, paid all the required fees, and was approved with a move-in date scheduled for August. After a few weeks of silence, I began calling the office multiple times, and each time, I was told not to worry and that my apartment assignment would be given the following week.
Now, with only a few days left until August, I have received an email stating that no apartments are available. They should have informed me months ago that there wouldn't be an apartment for me. This has wasted both my time and money. The management office is unorganized and unprofessional. I have lived here in the past for over two years, I am unsure if the management is different but things have changed for the worse.
The application fee is very expensive, and given the way applications are being processed, I would think twice before applying here.
BE VERY CAREFUL APPLYING HERE

Lived here over a year. At first amenities were great, then management or something must’ve changed. The carpets by the elevators on the 5th floor are gross and have things spilled everywhere (I used to see them clean the carpets but not anymore). On the weekends there’s never water in the gym, the coffee machine on the 5th floor is also usually down on the weekends. The pool area has gotten pretty gross, the waterfall and jet features haven’t worked all summer. There’s also a lot of broken tiles in the pool area and by the fireplace. It seems like
Nobody is taking care of the amenities like when I first moved here. Likely won’t renew my lease again, the cost of rent compared to how run down the amenities have gotten just doesn’t match up.
Also office staff definitely does not get stuff done. You constantly have to call and follow up daily.

The facilities look nice, but that's about where it ends. The management team for move-in is absolutely atrocious.
Poor planning and communication for move-in. Never responded to emails or phone calls. All we were told was the room number and move-in day(no time) about a month prior.
Get there on the day and get told that the room "still needs painted"(shouldn't that have been done prior to the day you told us we could show up?) and took an hour to sign one paper. Front desk staff seemed entirely lost on what to do and pretty much ignored us for a solid 20 minutes.
Would not recommend, you can literally get something nice and cheaper next door at UV.

The management team is terrible. I paid the application fee and administration fee to put me on waitlist 4 month ago and they said don't worry it will have unit available. They informed me four days before my check-in date that there are currently no available seats after multiple phone calls from me

Good maintenance and facilities, but paper thin wall.
