I bought a Mac pro in this store with the student discount before. I thought the new Mac is the same as that in the normal App Store. But it turns out that the new Mac is easily get overheating. And when it is overheating, it cannot operate normally, became slower. When it is in summer sometimes it can turn off by itself when the temperature is high. So I think the discount Mac may not as good as the normal App Store.

As an OSU student, I am beyond disappointed with this store! ??Don't be lured in by the OSU student discount to buy a computer here! This incident happened three years ago, but walking past Tech Hub today brought it all back, so I have to share my experience. Three years ago, I bought a MacBook Pro with the newly released M1 chip from them, and the screen was faulty right out of the box. There were black lines at the bottom of the screen (a common issue with that batch of MacBook Pros, which you can easily verify online).I kept my receipt and went back to Tech Hub the next day to request a refund, but the employees did everything they could to obstruct me and refused to give me my money back. After a lot of insistence on my part, they finally said they would either refund 85% of the cost or offer a replacement. A bearded middle-aged employee told me that if I chose the replacement, they wouldn't be responsible for any issues with the new computer.I swear every word of this is true! When you're tempted by their student discount, think about why they're offering it. Are their computers really of the same quality as those from an Apple store, or are they sourced from some shady, cheaper, unofficial channels? (If they’re legitimately sourced from Apple, why can’t they just return them to Apple and give me a full refund?)If you don't want to end up with a broken computer and not be able to get a full refund, stay away from OSU’s Tech Hub! Don’t be tempted by small savings!

Nice chill little store to buy your tech if you're a student at OSU. The best deals are for the Apple devices. They sent me the wrong product but they had excellent customer service and sent me an email before the wrong product arrived. Very nice and helpful.

I got a great service here, a screen of my MacBook Air, just over 1 year old failed (it was functional but only 70% of the screen could be used). I brought it for repair. In a couple days they notified me that a new screen was backordered. I asked them to return the computer to me so I can use it while there is a delay. They returned it to me as an exception from their policy. When part came they emailed me and the new screen was installed within 24 hours.

I believe Tech Hub gave the incorrect address. Also, even though they were listed as open, the message on their phone said "we can't answer". I replied that I wanted to know if they sold computers, but since they can't be bothered to have a real person to answer their phone, I'll just take my money elsewhere.

Prices may be good, but service is bad. If you buy a computer from here, you better hope that you never need them to repair it. Just go to the apple store and use the student discount.
