Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Tansky Autobody for your autobody needs. They were originally highly recommended to me through past experience. When I got in an accident, they were the first place I wanted to take my vehicle for repairs, so I did. But when I took it in, it became clear that Tansky did not have a sense of urgency when it came to fixing my vehicle. The autobody manager, Rob, seems spread thin and unable to provide proper customer service. I called several times during the two weeks that my vehicle was in the shop and made sure to reach out to multiple lines. Each line routinely was not answered and sent to voicemail. I left multiple messages that were not returned. Finally, in order to get ahold of the body shop, I had to call sales and request that they call and have someone at the autobody call me back. All of this work to have someone tell me that my vehicle was not a priority and that they were only getting more and more backed up. How disappointing. When I called to other local body shops, they were happy to accept my vehicle and get it in right away. Maybe this shop is busy, but they are not communicating expectations with customers regarding what to expect during the car repair process. I know you can do better, Tansky.

High end service, the folks deliver superb quality. The only problem is that they are always booked :-)If you look at the cars on their parking lot, you would see only the new pricy cars.

They have zero courtesy cars and they are so backed up that you will run out of insurance benefit for a rental. Be prepared to pay out of pocket for your rental and wait over a month for your car to be completed.

I took my car to Tansky’s Advanced Autobody and Paint on 10 May 2023 for a repair job. After inspecting the damage, I was told it would take 6 days to repair the damaged parts. I agreed and left my car in their care. I called a week later but was told it was not done. They told me it would be done by the following week. I told them that my insurance would only cover up to 1200 USD for the rental car I was using and to a maximum of 30 days and asked them to please get it done ASAP. After two weeks, I was told the same story. A few days later, I called again only to be told that it was not only my car that they were working on, and that I should wait. I contacted my insurance for help with their partner. My insurance contacted Tansky to hear from them and see if Tansky could give me a loaner – to no avail! It took 34 days for Tanksy to do a below-average repair job. I was forced to take my car poorly repaired only because I was trapped with having to pay even more than the 750 dollars I had to pay for the rental car because I had maxed the 1200 dollars limit with my insurance.\nThe paint job on the fender was awful - scratches can easily be seen under the paint as dented lines. The fender was damaged by something like a screwdriver, I guess, when they were trying to remove either the head light or the fender. Where the fender meets the panel below the headlight, one can easily see a white colour paint underneath the black paint; also, the gap between the fender and the panel it is attached with is so wide on the right side than the one on the left side. On top of this, I am still waiting for Tansky to put the hubcap on the wheel, which they said was on a national backlog:-(

I recommend these guys 100%. Service was A+. My Toyota looks like nothing ever happened to it. My car was washed almost detailed when they gave it back to me. Extremely happy. If you have a Toyota need, this is the place look no further.

I rarely leave reviews. However, my recent experience justified leaving one. I have no issue with the quality of work. But this was easily the worst customer service experience I ever have had. I brought my Tacoma in for estimate in July. I was told they would be able to work on it August. I would subsequently call the body shop numerous times over August/September time period leaving messages, inquiring when I could schedule to drop it off. I never received a response. I decide to physically go into the shop. Manager says “let’s get you scheduled for 10/3,” not even referencing why I didn’t receive a call back. I get a call 3 days before saying they do not have all the parts. And will have to reschedule. I call several times to check the status over October/November, leaving several messages. I received no call back. Finally get a hold of manager and was told, “yes we will call you tomorrow to schedule.” Tomorrow and the next day came, I received no call. I reach out to them and finally was able to schedule for drop off. I understand that businesses are facing a lack of employees. Timeframes are elongated, I get that. But under no means, should customer service falter. Pretty simple to respond to customer via phone or email in a timely manner. I suggest not taking your vehicle here and going to Germain Toyota.Service: Body & Trim

The team at Tansky did an outstanding job on my 2021 Tundra TRD Pro’s repair. They fought with the at fault parties insurance to make sure that I had OEM parts on a brand new truck and worked hard to make sure they didn’t have to cut into the body panels for repairs. Chadd kept me informed throughout the entire process and kept me at ease. The repair looks great (can’t believe they were able to color match the Lunar Rock so well). Highly recommend!!

Went to go pick my truck up after they’ve had it for 2 1/2 weeks and had compound putty still on front bumper and both front fenders were lose and not hugging the body. I’ve been very disappointed in their service and now with their quality. I would think that since they’re a Toyota Auto Body shop they would do better work. Will never go here again.Services: Painting

They were extremely professional and not only explained what they had done to repair the car, but also showed me pictures taken of each and every piece that needed to be repaired. Anyone needing a car repaired this is the best place to go.
