Tried out SOS for the first time at a high and tight class. The instructor was upbeat and the space is really nice! It was my first time there but I got no introduction to the studio or space and didn't feel very welcomed. The class itself was ok - it's under infrared so I got a decent sweat but I'm not sure the workout itself was as hard as my sweat would lead you to believe (no second day soreness). The instructor said it was a old class layout they tried to revamp so I'd be willing to give it another shot but the overall format/moves felt like they were trying to do too much and less cohesive. Four stars mostly based on reputation alone as I've heard great things from others and think it may have been a one off experience.

I can’t rave enough about systems of strength!! I’ve done many different gym memberships and this is by far my favorite. I love the diversity in the classes they offer - cardio, strength, mix of both, yoga, etc. No matter what I am looking for each week, they have it. My favorite class is the high and tight. When I tried navigating gyms on my own, I kept injuring my lower back. I’ve had no injuries since strengthening my core with regular high and tight classes. So appreciative of this!! Will recommend over and over again.

SOS has become a part of my weekly routine!! I have so many amazing things to say about SOS from the trainers to the atmosphere to the clients, everyone is great. I started going to SOS in February of 2021, just planning to go for a couple months to see how I liked it, and ended up loving the way I felt! It can be super frustrating at times because these are TOUGH workouts, but the trainers give "levels" or modifications to the workout that make it much more approachable. I definitely plan on continuing my SOS journey! I also feel like the workout pricing is very appropriate and comparable to other studios in the area.

I came in for my first work out today. First room is dark and empty, there is a check in desk with nobody there. They use assigned stations, I walk into the second room as everyone settles in and look around trying to figure out my station, let me tell you it’s not very clear. Nobody comes to help. I also didn’t bring a mat, how I was supposed to know they don’t provide it? I just decided to leave… the whole vibe wasn’t friendly/welcoming for someone new.

I've never set foot in SOS but I started their digital studio during March of 2020 and haven't looked back. The best online content, levels, and coaches. I'm obsessed and recommend to anyone!

The best hour of the day. One membership all the class formats you could ask for from yoga to cardio, strength, toning and Hiit.

I Iove this workout! It is so nice that they mix it up like they do. You can do anything from yoga to a hard cord cardio class all in the same membership! The downside to Grandview is that it is a little small and there is no AC.... So I will not being going in the afternoon in the summers! The coaches are very passionate and while it is intense I don't feel like I am being pressured to be at the same level as everyone else. They have great intro packages to try it out. I love it here!

One of the best gyms in Columbus. Great policies and great instructors! Consistently well-organized. The classes are engaging, effective and challenging. It's hard to get bored. It's also kept very clean & they managed covid-times very well. Good, energetic music. & I love the Clintonville location! The Grandview one is great too. Both are kind of tricky to park at-but just go early or allow for parking a tad further away. I hope one day "The Course" can return-although understandable during Pandemic. My only suggestions: 1.) please use the fans and get more air circulation in the rooms. They are rarely on, even in 90 plus degree weather. 2.) it would be nice to have a non-heated yoga or Pilates or just classes similar to the structure of the heated ones without the heat. I can't do the heated ones because of health reasons and I pass out. 3.) in the class format, it would be nice to go from left side to right side right after each other rather than just one side for so long. Just my preference and from a friend I go with.

This has been one of the best fitness studios I have visited. The workouts are challenging and the atmosphere is intense. Most classes left me spent and content.

I won't recommend until they stop projecting their sound out open windows (Clintonville location, residential neighborhood). This makes me think the owner(s) care most about about making a profit at the expense of being good neighbors. What about passerbys and patrons of other local businesses who don't want to hear S&S instructors counting down 3 - 2 - 1 etc. all the time? If it was live music, that might be different but ... geesh. I mean I love that people are getting in s

Challenging workout that keeps you moving every minute that you are there. The classes are thoughtfully set up and instructed and the energy is high. Would definitely recommend if you like a lot of variety in your workouts.

I’m in my 6th year of working out at SOS and I love it today just as much as I did when I started. The physical and mental challenges of pushing myself to my limits is what keeps me coming back. It never becomes “easy.” Part of the mental aspect is pushing through your workout despite 90 degree plus temperatures during the summer. If you can’t handle an hour long class without air conditioning and don’t like people sweating around you then you are probably better off joining Snap Fitness. SOS is a gym, not a country club.

Been going to the gym for four months now. MY favorite class is clocked! I feel accomplished after every workout. They push me to my limit. The instructors are motivating. I have enjoyed EVERY class thus far. Thank you SOS for being a part of my fitness journey

We love coming to SOS and have been off and on for 3 years. The instructors are great and the class formats often are, too. This summer, however, it has been brutal with how hot it’s been. The back studio at the Grandview location is always extremely hot and humid, no matter what time of day. It’s so hot that people start to smell because they’re sweating so much and at times the heat and smell are so bad it pretty much ruins the workout. I know many people, clients and employees alike, have asked the upper management to consider adding air conditioning to the back studio and they have refused. It’s disappointing, to say the least. It seems that upper management is far more interested in franchising the business than it is in perfecting their facilities, customer service, and client experience.

I’ve been going here for 6+ years; The instructors are top notch, always challenging you to push yourself. They mix it up constantly, so I never get bored and am continually sore as they work different muscle groups. The “system” of different classes allows you to truly work every part of your body and get in the best shape. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to be engaged in your workouts and want results!
