Stopped in tonight to check out espresso/coffee maker options, and were fortunate to spend more than 20 minutes with Bob, who was extremely knowledgeable. We love Sur La Table & today’s visit was no exception.

I had an unsettling experience at the Sur La Table at Easton Town Center on January 2, 2025. While my initial interaction with Becky at checkout was fantastic—she went above and beyond by pointing out a clearance section for Hanukkah items, leading us to make additional purchases in a separate transaction—my second experience with Crystal at the register was disappointing.
When checking out with the Hanukkah items, Crystal immediately seemed irritated and said, “I’m not even sure why we have the Hanukkah items on clearance when the holiday isn’t even over yet.” My partner and I, both Jewish, were taken aback. Hanukkah had ended the night before, so the comment was not only incorrect but also unnecessary and dismissive.
This raises a few questions:
1. Is there a rule at Sur La Table about when holiday items can go on clearance? If so, why was I able to buy Christmas items on clearance after Black Friday, well before Christmas?
2. Why would a sales associate question or undermine another associate’s efforts to close a sale? Shouldn’t Crystal have been pleased that Becky successfully encouraged additional purchases?
From a customer service perspective, this behavior is baffling. Rather than celebrating a successful sale, Crystal’s comments were strange and dare I say, ignorant?
While I greatly appreciated Becky’s excellent service, Crystal’s attitude has left me questioning whether I want to return to this location.

I'm Rolling Out Dough in Luxury with Marble on Marble! 🙌👏😁🥳🎉🍾🎀🎊🥂🪅🎂🪇🩷
A couple years ago or so, I bought an exquisite genuine marble roller and pin plus a pastry board to utilize to prep my breakfast, lunch and dinner meals and it has been good to me. When I'm not using it I store fruit and florals on it! 😊☺️ I clean it thoroughly before and after every use. Happy with my purchase! 👏

Emily is very helpful and stellar, we appreciated her soft-spoken demeanor--the cappuccino was divine and reminded us of Spain. The store is clean and orderly, with cooking classes going on while you browse. Very classy! Will certainly return!

My wife and I did a cooking class. Staff were friendly and it was a fun time with some great food. Crystal gave me a demo of a high end coffee making and fixed me an excellent cup of coffee. Keep up the great work!!

My girlfriend booked a cooking class for my birthday. Less than 36 hours before, they called and cancelled with zero explanation. I had to call and push to get a generic response of "we didn't have any chefs and corporate left the listing online, so dozens of people are having the same problem." This company is horrendous. Look at their reviews, my experience is very common.

Extremely disappointed with this place. My wife had wanted to do a cooking class for a long time so I scheduled one as a surprise four our anniversary. Less than 24 hours in advance I receive a phone call that it’s canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances”. I was offered a refund but nothing else for the terrible inconvenience of having surprise anniversary plans canceled the day before. I understand things happen but this was not handled very well.

Loved the class. The food was great but had to stand and eat when done cooking. Should invest in some stools!

My wife and I attended a cooking class here and had a blast! The instructors were patient, friendly, and very hands-on, which made the whole experience feel rewarding. Meeting other participants added to the fun and enjoyment of the class. However, one suggestion I have is to consider adding chairs. It was a bit uncomfortable to eat while standing, especially for taller individuals like myself. Overall, though, we had a great time and would recommend the class to others!

WOW! What can I say other than please do it yourself! The Sur La Table cooking class was an amazing present to receive from my partner. We enjoyed learning new skills, making new friends and enjoying a meal beyond our own cooking skills. Cannot wait to apply these skills at home

This is ridiculous. I placed an order to use a gift card. I went through the checkout process waiting for an option to apply the gift card. The checkout completed through Apple Pay without applying the gift card amount. I called customer support immediately after the online purchase to retroactively apply the card and was told that was not possible. I then wanted to cancel my order and was told THAT was not possible. This is completely unacceptable behavior. I went from excited to use your service and making a purchase well in excess of the gift card amount to now never wanting to use your service again and going out of my way to share this negative experience.I will now have to physically return all of these items to a store at personal inconvenience. You obviously do not care about the experience you provide your customers. It’s a shame because I would normally be the ideal demographic for your business. If you are going to offer gift cards, you need to make using them intuitive and easy. You need to empower your customer service agents to correct mistakes if a customer goes out of their way to pick up the phone to talk to someone.

We did the Thai dinner due to gluten free requirements and it was delicious. We had to prepare our meal and cook it with instructions. The Thai sorbet was the bomb. My only negative was you have to stand why you prepare everything and then you have to stand while you’re eating and the table is way too low and they do not provide you a chair or a stool to enjoy your meal and it’s very odd. We stood for over two and a half hours prepping and eating. They just moved to a new location at Easton and you would think they would either have taller prep stations or temporary seating for at least the dinner portion

I recently took a cooking class with my boyfriend and we had the best time! The staff was great! It was a Tuscan menu and we made pasta. The instructor was hands on and gave great cooking advice. She taught me some knife skills :) I would recommend you take a bottle of wine with you to enjoy while you cook! We will definitely do this again!
