I go here to get dirt. It's usually cheaper and always in stock. And a lot closer than my usual place I go to for my supplies. The people are friendly and it just seems like a good old fashioned business, you dont get anywhere else.

Oh, the beautiful flowers for Fall in there! A feast for the eyes. ?? We needed potting soil...almost time to plant garlic in Grow Bags. The clerk complimented me on my hand-made bag. That was sweet of her.

I usually love straders but purchased a ton of jalapenos this spring only to find out I'm growing wax peppers. I put a ton of effort into this. So dissatisfied.

Great knowledge for all of your plant needs. I recommend them all the time, for those who garden or need help with curb appeal.

I stopped at your location on E. Broad St. at approximately 2pm today. I was looking at the fruits and vegetables. One of your workers came and stood about 12ft from me, but never offered any assistance. As soon as a white couple came up, she offered them help. (I am a woman of color) I will never stop at this location again, nor will I ever refer anyone of color to do so. My money is just as green as thiers.

First, I’ve gotten some nice plants here and they have the soil that I love. My issue is that the last time I was there, I wasn’t acknowledged at all. I get to the register and still, cashier doesn’t say “Hi” or anything. Rings up my soil but just stands there and doesn’t tell me my total. I pay and she just proceeds to turn toward another employee while sticking my receipt out at me. No “ thank you” “have a nice day” NOTHING. I guess customer service doesn’t matter anymore. I’ll just carry my business elsewhere.

Terrible customer service at Reynoldsburg store. On several occasions, I say thank you and the cashier - says nothing. Today's ungracious cashier was tall w/short reddish hair & big glasses. Said nothing after I paid & said THANK YOU! They clearly hate working there.

I personally used to love this place! I've shopped there for 20 yrs but the last 3 yrs my experience has been just upsetting...I think the proper word is. You plan a garden by color and height so when you look at the label you think that's what you're getting.nope! Different colors different heights. I bought a butterfly bush that was supposed to get 8ft it's a dwarf! I bought peonies and all is pink even tho I thought I was buying multiple colors. I spent $350 on my last trip there Last summer and had to dig up and redo my garden because everything was mis labeled. I called the store and they said they would have a manager call me bck n after trying for about a week I just said nvr again will I shop there!

Wow. Just a terrible experience today. Never written a review from the parking lot before, but here goes...Was trying to find any help for 15 minutes, no one. Then, when I was finally able to flag someone down for 2 pretty simple questions, he grunted "over there" then threw 2 sweet potato vines in my cart. When I asked if there were any more (I wanted 3 flats), he said "probably not" and walked away without checking.Go to check out, asked about self water baskets, and was pointed to a vague area. Turns out that there were only 2 different kinds of self-watering hanging baskets. Then made it back to line. Cashier bent over backwards for the woman in front of me, including calling another cashier over to search for a coupon. After an eternity, apparently my almost $300 was not worth the same consideration.Having already spent $900 at Oakland this morning, I realized that it is my own damn fault for not ordering online, but I try to support local. Also, keep in mind that this was a MONDAY afternoon.Do what you want, but they have gone way downhill since COVID.

Strader's, on East Broad Street, has deteriorated over the years. Many of their employees are rude and unhelpful. They NEVER have any plants on sale unlike many of the other nurseries in town. Additionally, their selection of plants is not nearly as impressive as some of the other nurseries here in Columbus.
